why is there a difference when it comes to Soccer / Tennis / etc? I think I make good sense.

The question is not, if a Girl can Wrestle? We all know of, or have heard stories where girls have become accomplished Wrestlers. I think the real question is, should Girls be allowed to Wrestle against Boys, or Boys against Girls? I think it is a no win situation for the Boy who has to Wrestle against a Girl. Again, I think there can and should be Girls Wrestling, Just not against Boys.

I think there is more talent at 103 then people think. It should be a good season this year. merriville semi state definately has the toughest 103's

Again... I guess if anyone could give me one example where there was a extreme difference in the result of the Wrestlers life (for the positive) I would promise to not discuss this subject ever again. So if you lived in the IPS system, you dont think there would be a difference if you transfered to Warren, LN, LC, Pike Ben Davis, North Central, or any of the other township schools? Not only would you most likely recieve a better education, you would have much better facilities as well. Warrendad... this is a question , not an example, right?

How do you know that they can do just as good? Sometimes with a gifted wrestler transfering may be his only shot at going to college. He may not have good coaching, no or poor partners. So why not go somewhere else? Would you rather him just be average and graduate from high school and go work in a factory, or go to college get a degree and have a carrer? Actually, I believe we are the Majority; however, the bad apples (though only a few) really stand out.

Kids, well are kids. I have the problem with the parents and coaches who promote and allow this.

you would hope that "pride and honor" would come into play at some point.

Recruiting is the bad part of any HS sport especially when a School has "Win at any cost" as a part of their culture. As a parent of a wrestler, I would be pretty upset if a kid was recruited into my sons school and ended up taking his spot. Hopefully someday this sort of thing will truly be monitored and controlled.

I personally am one of those parents who stand the sideline when my son is wrestling. I would have killed my mother if she did this to me(not in the literal sense). Let the kids do what they love, encourage them, but stay out of it. They're in high school for goodness sake. How are they ever going to develop into strong, independent-minded men if their mommy or daddy is on the sidelines?

No sectionals have been seeded yet. What you have seen is probably conference brackets OK, so when are they coming out?
