Reitz also had their JV 189 pder wrestling 215 today.

I seen Mr. Ford at the meet tonight. I'm pretty sure we'll have something to read in the morning.

I think that the 140 class has the most parity this year. MD, Memorial, North, Central, Reitz and Castle all have 40 pders that are pretty good. I don't know if any of them are just a clear favorite in this class. Just my opinion.

Yes the meet is at MD. I know that Simms is a great wresltler and I like watching him wrestle, but Vogel is not a slouch. I think he only has 2 losses on the season.

I think that the 140 class is going to be a doozy! Everyone is forgetting about Whetstine from Memorial. But Raben from MD beat him 3-2 (please correct me if i'm wrong) Reed from Reitz isn't a push over either. How did Reed do against Steele and Chamberlian? WMC0809 you brought 3 14o pders in that are worthy, but these three are in the mix also. There are only 4 guys who are getting out and 6 pretty good wrestlers.

I know that Dowdy ® beat Wolf (H) by a pretty good margin at the Harrison 10 way. I was thinking it was a major but I may be wrong.

Navy80, I couldn't agree more! Bad sportsmanship is unacceptable. Wrestling is a sport were controlling your emotions comes into play and it doesn't sound like Kief did so hot in this catagory.

Antares1 ... i understand what you are saying about weather the schools liability will cover the eigth grader, but I would actually worry about this kid hurting the kids that he is wrestling. Who will be at 103 that will give this kid some competition?

The 103 from Union County would have been really impressive if he was a senior in high school but the fact that he is an 8th grader blows me away!!!!! My MVP vote goes to Caleb Ervin at 140 though!!! He left every wrestler he faced thinking that they never want to wrestle him again. He will be a champ at the MD Classic!

I think that Nut did do a much better job against Kuhn even though the result was a pin. It was a close match and I felt that after Kuhn built a small lead and put Nut on his back that Nut knew it was over and wasn't worried about weather he got pinned or beaten by one... he just knew he lost. Same for Ruegger... he was obviously sick and after he lost the takedown in overtime he knew he lost and gave up after the takedown. A pin would not have been the result had the takedown happend in the third period with time on the clock. Kudos to Henderson on the takedown in overtime though.

Don't think anyone has pointed this out yet but at 152 is a first round matchup for this weekend. Petijohn vs King is going to be a great match. Are these two both seniors?

Grap41 I think you need to go back and review the tape. The Castle assistant is who started the talking. I was a few rows up and heard what he said. He pointed at the Reitz coaches (poking his finger repeatedly) saying that is bulls***! over and over again. The Reitz assistant said don't you point and curse at me! ( I would be the same way) If you have a problem with the call take it up with the referee not the other coaches. Then Castles head coach started his talking on top of that. I didn't see any other Reitz coaches do anything but try to break up or calm down the scene that the Castle coaches started. I also scene a Castle fan or two trying to get everyone back in their seats. And for the redneck comment .... come up with something new. 7-4-1: Unnecessary roughness is further defined to include a forceful slap to the head or face, and/or gouging or poking the eyes. This rule is a point of emphasis this year.
