Hamilton Heights placed 5th, and Westfield 8th in D2 last year also.

I'd throw Tyler Elmore in the discussion. He's been wrestling 112 all summer and hasn't lost. he will be @ 103 this year again 36-7 ss qualifier with 6 losses coming to state qualifiers

Venezia was sectional champion. Newkirk lost first round @ regionals to Zach Wise who placed 3rd in HH sectional. So he placed 2nd @ sectionals.

Thanks J.D. for clearing this all up. How many wrestlers can we send to Fargo per weight class?

J.D. I looked on qualifications for Fargo on the Central Regionals page and it says, all Intermediate,Novice and Schoolboy/girl age divisions must participate in ISWA freestyle or greco-roman finals in order to qualify. Says nothing about cadet which my son is.

I need to know if my son has to qualify or can still go to Fargo. He was going to go to freestyle state this past weekend , but got strept throat thursday. We plan on going to Central regionals this month does that qualify him? He would be at cadet 105. He qualifed last year but our team went to Disney, this year were not. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Wise and Elmore have never wrestled, Wise was @ 112 during the first few weeks. Should be a very good match both are very similar on feet. Also Alley and Specht have not wrestled before, Alley was @ 145 when we wrestled Noblesville, should also be very good match. I'm picking Elmore & Alley!
