Bump to 160 pounds..? Forte wants no part of Vinny Corsaro! I'm sure it'd be cool to watch, and there might be a flurry or two, but Corsaro would physically beat Forte (and LeCount) by major decesions! And that's not even an opinion. He is too strong, physical, and mean for Forte. But nice was a funny suggestion, it made me chuckle ;D

I picked LaHue from the get go also, idk who will be in his weight class next year, but I'll take him over Red this year.

Come on man don't be foolish now. Ya they lost some nail biters to Penn and lost 33-23, but they lost 37-31 to Franklin & was without thier 152lber who would have won man honestly. Don't put the Irish down so much. Larson's there at Calumet Cathedral wins 34-31 at least. They ff 152... Gotta give em a little credit. Plus they face Perry next week, so we'll see how all that goes. All the teams were all very competitive and matched up differently, and the tops 5 teams of IHSWCA are all pretty close as we know from results of the whole season. So many results could have been different from all these TOSS UPS! Heck Warren is still solid too man. Just be cool brotha

Wilson's great and he's a great wrestler, and he's very very hard to take down. And he also goes after it too. I am going out on a limb on this one b/c it's a toss up... But I think Wilson would beat Micic too. Lee I think would beat Wilson though by about 3 or 4. But Wilson is at 32 come sectional time. He weighed in at 26 for dual purposes, but he's at 32.

I agree with Big Bob 77. If it were any other team I'm sure the coach would have snapped just as well. And we've all seen them happen. I think it's great he actually cares & enthusiastic about the sport and officiating. I mean I see a lot of coaches (head) that sit in the chair for 14 matches. I coached grade school wrestling, & even I myself have gotten fired up at times because I love the sport and argue calls I feel are wrong.

So you think if a match is out of reach it's okay for a kid to lose the match because of table errors...? Moron. And there was no assistant ref, unless you call an assistant ref sit'n on his butt. I'm not an Irish fan, but that was the first round match I was paying attention to. It just ticks me off when people think they can say "Well the match was already over anyways" It's about the kids man, not us.

It was a grown adult, not a child. The guy should have been doing his job. It was definitely a factor of the match. That's all I'm saying.

Ya I am definitely not going to start a debate or argument over 2 BA wrestlers. I might have been a little out of proportion w/ the topics start/comment, but I don't think I was way out of proportion... I'm just gonna kinda stick by my first post and keep quiet. I'm sure Lee's skills at Banker's will back me up is all I'm saying. I heard a rumor too Lee could barely see the last period and a half because he lost both his contacts... Idk, obviously my money on Lee. I'll say by 5 or more

I know it's early, and draws won't go this way, but here are my picks: 106- Cummings OV. Bailey 113- Miller OV. Crary 120- Redd OV. LaHue 126- Micic OV. Davis (but Davis wins SS) 132- Wilson OV. James 138- Hughes OV. Cash 145- Forte OV. LeCount 152- James OV. Carroll 160- Corsaro OV. Heistand 170- Stevenson OV. Sopko 182- Moss OV. Rypel (but Rypel wins SS) 195- Thacker OV. Kral 220- Robinson OV. Faulkenberg HVY- Bernard OV. Memmelgarn Match of the night goes to Forte and LeCount. It'd be very unfortunite for a semi-final draw. I give the team points to 1st place-Cathedral, 2nd place-Warren, 3rd place-Perry, 4th place-WhoCares. Indy schools have some tough individuals, not that region or other area schools don't. Just an opinion. Everybody give me some other predictions and feedback though also. Nice feedback, no arguements. I hate those things

LOL, nothing happened in 1999. I won Connersvile twice in the 2000 era. I was just trying to make a point to jgm. I'm done debating w/ you tho man. You can't win against a guy sit'n in "his thrown" w/ stupidity. I guess me and everyone else are wrong... lol

Ooooookay, I'm glad it "reminds you of the fact" My complaint isn't a tough draw for a kid one season in 1999, or even two, or even three seasons of a row of this... My complaint/whinning is that this is EVERY single year!!!! Not just a few seasons in a row bud. But as long as it "reminds you of the fact" Somebody's gotta complain/whin, I guess it'll be me this year. Hopefully my whinning and complaing will make a change or difference one day. I mean dang, all the staff has to do is be ethical, and not tamper (cheat) with the drawings. I mean I know that is just so hard and tough to ask for, but I bet they could sleep better at night. Actually no they can't, because Connersville still loses...

I know it's not a big deal for you or any of the other Spartan coaches, but I just feel it's a big deal for us fans who take work off, and pay to go watch the tournament. I mean if it's a blind draw, then make it a flipp'n blind draw! Give the fans the finals they came to see, instead of the championship on the first day. And do JGM... do you really just think it's a coincidence that Connersville is far ahead of EVERY team after the first two rounds EVERY year.!? Sorry, but either you're from Connersville, or you're just an idiot.

I'll tell you who you're missing... you're missing the Connersville staff who does the drawings! Let's see how many points Connersville will be up this year after rounds one and two. I'll say round one by 48pts, and round two by 29pts

I just don't fully understand why these people hate on The Cathedral Fighting Irish. I know this is a topis of debate, but can't we just discuss the match-ups and outcomes of the two tournaments... I mean Cathedral is a great team, and there are a lot of other great teams too. I give my hats off to Perry for four state titles in a row. All you region wrestlers and coaches need to quit bash'n Cathedral for having a strong successful team. Dang man, give it a rest. I'm sure the Irish respect the region teams as well as other teamsin the city, and we don't go talking trash about you people. Have some respect for the greatest sport ever made ya region know it alls.! -
Cathedral should be ranked #6th, Warren #7th, and Portage #8th.

I am just curious, who are the people voting in this poll? i dont know if can name specific people or not, but how do we come up w/ these rankings? And another question, how often will these polls switch before Jan.4th come IHSWCA state tournament time? I've heard top 4 are seeded, and the rest are blind drawed into those teams? So what I'm asking is... are the draws out yet, if not how do they come up with the draws?
