Hey fan man tell everyone who u are and the school your kid is from. Again easy to take shots from behind a computer. The ideas u think we Connersville folks have is not true. 2 years ago I took the time to put brackets up then got accused of " fixing the brackets". 32 teams there and no one besides Connersville can post brackets? I guess all teams there must be hiding the results. Jerry

Just some off season notes on Tom Gettinger. Ohio tourney of champs champ. NUWAY and HYWAY champ. 7th at Michigan Grappler Open. Went 4-2 at Folkstyle nationals but DNP and 4-2 at cadet worlds but DNP.Also many open meets won. The rankings do not serve him justice. If at 132 he would have to be above Brokal since he beat him once or twice this summer.

The Ohio State Fair wrestling tourney is this weekend. All info can be found on State Fair web site. All wrestlers must preregister by Thursday. Satellite weigh in will be held at Connersville High School on Thursday from 6-8 at High School wrestling room. Jerry

How many Indiana wrestlers are going to these duals? Are they missing freestyle state to continue wrestling folkstyle? Just curious... As of now 350+ are registered which is a spike but still low. Thoughts?

Saturday at Yorktown line bracketing was used. I was told that all freestyle tournaments would be ran that way. Does anyone know if this is right? Thanks to Yorktown, your tourney was well ran and had great officials. Jerry

Thank you to everyone who attended and to those who worked very hard to make it a success. Some 200 wrestlers with only a few pairing mess ups. Started on time and ended by one or two. Not bad for our first time! Thanks again to all. Jerry

If the state allows you to have the pound allowance then how can they keep you from wrestling.Hope that no one gets disqualified because the state gives you an allowance that you are technically not aloud to use.

It is a shame, but Tom will deal with it. I think he is in the same boat either weight class. Makes me wonder how Tom got pointed out, or if this common on more people knowing what your wrestler weighed in at then you! Anyway, good luck to all and your karma Jerry

Connersville High School will hold a satellite weigh in for the Ohio State Fair tourney. Weigh in's will be held from 5 to 7 on Thursday July 28th at the high school wrestling room.
