I have not been happy in the past, but. For the last two years I think that the Herald Times in Bloomington, In. has been doing a good job of reporting on wrestling and the local wrestlers. I never thought a few years ago I would say this but.. Good job Herald Times.

Dang, was hoping Edgewood would be in different pool than Triton, we wrestled them last Saturday and will also have them at our home duals in January.. Oh well.. Thanks for the info.

Does anyone know what teams are at Columbus North this weekend?

My goodness, they are high school wrestling team line ups, not a covert operation team to steal secrets from Russia, come on. Each weight class should have the teams best wrestler in that weight class. Individual records do not reflect team wins. My opinion is that team wins are for the coaches record. If you coach your kids well and the wrestler that wins the wrestle off for the weight class should be in that class.. There is more to sports, especially wrestling, than winning.

My son talked with one of the THS wrestlers last saturday and he said both of them quit.

Also heard that Case and Jensen from Terre Haute South may not be wrestling this year, heard this from a THS wrestler last saturday and Case or Jensen were not at the meet. Might want to confirm with some one else though.

135, Kerr from Edgewood, 5th at 125 last year at Semi-State, lost to Raley in the ticket round. So far this year 5-0 (4 pins and a 6-0 dec.)

Was hoping to see a big match saturday between 140 lb #2 PJ Montgomery (Terre Haute South) and #9 Jordan Judy (Danville) but Judy didn't wrestle. Does anyone know if he was injured or a weight poblem? He was there but didn't wrestle, Sure would have been a good one to watch.

Andrew seems to be a good kid. My son has wrestled him a couple of times over the years, last time about a year or so ago at ISWA State, we talked to him several times that day, my opinion is he is a quality wrestler and is someone that represents the sport well. Good luck to him this season, I hope he does very well.
