  1. It should be a good day of wrestling but I think it will be a close one with Northridge having a solid team, Goshen has some solid team, and Central. These teams could all pull together to make it a tough day for Memorial.
  2. Sounds like from what i heard Memorial didnt come out as well as they would have liked.
  3. Northridge's Powell and Graber this year have been pretty solid. You could also throw Mays in there as well. I believe they are all still undefeated for the year.
  4. How did Riley's hwt make first team if he lost today? I was pretty sure someone told me he lost to Central hwt by 3...
  5. Does anyone know whether broadcastsports.net will be in action tomorrow? I know last year they were at the NIC super dual.
  6. Jim Nicholson should also be credited with taking a Elkhart Central wrestling team that had finsihed the previous 4 year with only a handful of wins and turning it into a team that has won four straight seasons with 15+ wins and a team regional appearance last year. I think Coach Bower would be the first to credit Coach Nicholson with whats happened at Elkhart Central, but I would say he has done a great job of continuing to build on the foundation Coach Nicholson left behind. Coach Bower is a very good coach that deserves to be in this category also. Absolutely. I guess I just didn't want to obscure Chuck Bowers, who has also been instrumental at EC in keeping. the ball rolling.
  7. I also dont see mishawaka being down anytime soon. In the past they have had graduation hurt them but they consistantly put out tough wrestlers. I do not see memorial challenging them anytime soon. Memorial also seems to be losing their studs that they have had in their line ups in the past. They are not rebuilding as well as Mishawaka. But thats just one mans opinion. Both teams are very good I just feel one is head and shoulders above the other.

  9. Steven Ross is not wrestling 112 he is at 119 and he was beat twice this weekend at Memorial invite, including losing by tech fall to alex filer. Also Austin Phillips beat Jimmy King at 215 in OT in the finals. Steve Farrah wrestled very well also winning at 135. Powell at 160 also wrestled like a top five wrestler very dominate as did Graber at 189.
  10. Austin Phillips beat #12 King in the final overtime at 215
  11. Alex filer from Elkhart central beat Ross from Concord 3-2 at the Turkey duals
