Last I heard - Cathedral was leading Reitz by 1.5 pts.

I agree with coach harmon.................most teams are heavy in the middle classes with great wrestlers being left out of the mix.

Moody beat Hupp 4-2 in round 1. Reitz won all but 1 of the first round matches and won the first 5 weights in the second round before losing at 138. What happened to Mason Todd? Someone said he wasn't wrestling today.

I was very impressed with Swade Oser from Heritage Hills at the Harrison 10-way. Has he been beat this year? If so, by who? If not, who has given him the best match? One thing for sure you will know you've been in a match after wrestling this guy.........very strong and physical.

What teams will there? I only know of host North Posey and Reitz. Wasn't sure if Castle will be there or not? Mt. Vernon, Evansville Central, Tell City?

Is the 10 way this weekend? If so, do we know the rotation yet? Teams are usually: Evansville Harrsion, Reitz, Heritage Hills, Tell City, Union Co. KY, Louisville Trinity, Evansville Memorial, South Spencer, Southridge, & Bosse?

152 is a solid class. I like Rueger from Reitz to come out on top. I predict he will join 5 other champs from Reitz along with 3 more in the top 3.

Blake Johns 112 from Reitz (10) first year varsity 3rd at SIAC conference behind Mastison (H) and Goebel (MD) 3rd at Sectionals behind Mastison (H) and Goebel (MD) 1st at Regionals defeating both Mastison & Goebel 3rd at SemiState defeating Goebel Lost to Cody Phillips in a close match 5-3 Friday night at State.

I thought it would be interesting to see how the Kentucky guys who won the Mater Dei Holiday classic placed at their State tournament: 103: Blackwell (UC) 3rd 112: B. Ervin (UC) 1st 125: J. Fahy (Trinity) 1st 130: Carr (UC) 1st 135: Hitchings (Trinity) 2nd 140: Honeycutt (SX) 4th 152: C. Ervin (UC) 1st - tournament MVP 160: Jo. Lampe (SX) 1st Note: 189 Buckman (UC) placed 1st at state but did not compete at the MD classic I truly believe that both Ervins would win a championship in Indiana - Caleb Ervin was Doug Welch's only loss this year 6-1. Fahy would be right there also.

How many 4th place finishers from semi-state are going to finish no worse than 4th today? I know 2 from Evansville - Lannert (mater dei) and Whetstine (memorial). It's probably not a coincidence that these 2 guys have huge fan bases. I noticed a lot of Lannert shirts and Whetstine signs. Both wrestlers were within 2 pts of making the finals. If someone has already started a similiar thread - I apologize. I'm sitting at a TGI fridays and my blackberry is quite cumbersome.

I'm happy for both wrestlers to make it to the finals and very happy for the fans to finally get to see this match-up on the biggest stage! Bluebolt, I believe I called this on one of my PM's?
