  1. All very tough. I went to the toughest regional topic and picked these sites all have very tough wrestlers
  2. Is Acuna going to wrestle 130 for the rest of the season? I have Acuna at 130
  3. This doesn't answer your question. But when I think of the most accomplished wrestler to never win state (not even getting to the finals) was Randy Baker. 3rd, 3rd, 6th, and 7th. But Taylor March would definitely unseat Baker this year, for my money. 2nd, 2nd, 3rd,???. Don't take this as me rooting against him because I never would do that. Just saying... I like Craig Macke EMD for the best never to win it. It is hard to win a title when You have Aaron Clark and Angel Escobedo in you weight
  4. I know it isn't ask Ontherise219 but I enjoy the Boston Cream
  5. It is a his break out meet. Nuzzo Por also just beat him. He is not wrestling Sat. It is not going to be his break out meet
  6. Eric Douglas Valpo was runner 2x to Cameron Smith Ben Davis. Also Damon Hummel Roc Sq, 2,2 3
  7. 103 1. Ayersman LC 2. Stevens Merr 112 1. Hawkins CP 2. Coppinger Por 119 1. Costakis Merr 2. Manes CP 125 1. Napules Merr 2. Tsirtsis CP 130 1. Acuna Por 2. Shurg CP 135 1. Roach CP 2. 8. THERANKINGSGUY and I don't alway see eye to eye on things. But we do talk about alot of guys who I have ranked that he doesn't have ranked but I think he does a great Job. Also Cadet130 you do a great job by getting your kids names out there.
  9. It is under the Takedowns topic on page 3 I think it is all time So I don't have any updates on this season except Justin Brooks that some one posted like a montha ago
  10. I looked at about 25 team sites to find the takedowns records I have on the other post. for the top 30 But how accurate are they
  11. yeah I thinkit is great that they wrestle a out of State tourny they wrestle 2 I wish more teams wrestled out of state.
  12. 03 Griffith was the Team state Runners up with guys like Adame 5th, Jose SQ, Angel Champ, Andre Champ, Alex Champ, David Martin was unbeaten until semi state, SQ. They also had a Champ at 112 and 140 and a Runner up at 160. Griffith was the Champ in 03 Merrillville had 0 State finalist it was Davids first year. 04 Merrillville was the champ
  13. I don't know why he did that ethier. His team was far ahead in the team score. No disrespect to the Munster kid but he was over matched but he scrapped. Dillon is on another level. He shouldn't have been so upset with a tech fall
  14. When cashe and harper started doing it I'm going to say when Alex did it.
  15. 03 Merrillville was there I'm pretty sure Griffith won it. Griffith had at least 6 champs. With out a doubt they would have run things over the last couple of years. They have had some out standing wrestlers.
  16. I would give the nod to Gonzo as well, I am assuming he is coming down and just wrestled 130 for the County tourney. You also have Wartman of LC, who should have beat Camacho at the County, but the ref missed what I thought were definitely some near fall points. Camacho won 4-3. ontherise219, I have to disagree, I think we can have some multiple champs coming from this regional, and definitely some high placers. I agree that they are not the clear cut favorite at their respective weights, but they are right up there. With out a doubt but over the last 10-15 we have put so many kids in the finals along with a lot of Depth in so many weight classes it is down from what it usually is . Dillon, Porras, Ayersman, Napules. Should be high medalist or even all finalist. We have had a champ out of this regional every year since 2001 then even before that we had a bunch T. Stone, Spenser, Vince and Billy, Billy again David before that. It goes on and on. I don't think we are becoming Logansport.
  17. Also another guy Rob Walhman Merrillville He didn't have a great career but he should have had a ticket. Was winning in the ticket Rd against Seth Parker WL Harrison when he was called for a Illegal slam. Parker couldn't go on so he was DQ. Parker went on to take 3rd that year. A rough way to lose
  18. He had a very good match his Sr year against Ginter 11-10
  19. Jake Smith Munster Didn't always have the best record He didn't always lose in the ticket RD but lost to very good kids and lost at the Semi state 3x So. Josh Harper/Champ 103 Jr. Trace Hall/4th at 119 Sr. Daniel Young/3rd at 130 Regional Champs these years So. 103 Montez 3rd Jr 119 Porras SQ, 2nd Sr.130 Pleasac SQ all Hobart guys He also has a win over Camden Eppert
  20. Here are my picks for the Calumet Regional it seems like a down year this regional. It usually produces multiple champs and place winners East Chicago Central, Hammond, Bishop Noll, Clark, Gavit, Morton, Highland, Lake Central, Munster, Whiting, Calumet, Gary Wallace, West Side, Wirt Griffith, Lake Station, Merrillville, Hobart 103 1. Ayersman LC 2. Stevens Mer 3. Medina Mun 4. Orechwicz Grif 112 1. Padilla Mer 2. Smith LC 3.Cecil Mun 4. Rodriguez High 119 1. Costakis Merr 2. Escobedo LC 3. Smith Mun 4. Smeltzer Cal 125 1.
