Going to be a great room tonight!!! If you are going to Nationals next week, this is a great opportunity to prepare yourself. Our college wrestlers have done a great job representing our state at the NCAA's!!! It is our time to keep that momentum rolling. Stop in and have your mind set on winning a NATIONAL TITLE and to get that AA status!!! Cant wait till VA Beach!!! Coach Weimer

Y2, Yes we are having open room this Thursday @ 5 30. It will be a great open room before NHSCA's, Iowa, and Mizzou Nationals so there will be a big turnout with guys that are going to nationals. Stop in and bring your shoes Coach Weimer

Amazing room last night!! Groups that were battling with each other Cashe, Wright, D. Spencer, Nelson, Price, Crosby, and McCarthy G. Mcginly, S. Bennett, Grimes, Willis, Coach Tally, Coach Swain, Has about 60 kids, Alexandria, Mt. Vernon, Cath, Carmel, Fishers, Pike, Tech, and Anderson Highland are schools I can remember off the top of my head. Next Thursday we will be battling again gearing up for NHSCA Nationals. Any wrestler planning on going out to Va. Beach should attend. Coach Weimer

Dates and Times Thursdays 5:30- 7:30 or however long you want to stay. We put the kids through a quick warm up then we wrestle. WE usually have 50-60 kids from all over central Indiana LN, cath., Carmel, westfield, Warren, Tech are schools off the top of my head that has been in the room. Floyd Central and St.X in KY brought some kids up last week. It is a great opportunity to wrestle with some of the elite wrestlers in the state. There are some great coaches in the room wrestling also. Stop in, it will be worth it. Coach Weimer

Yes we are having open room tomorrow night. We have it every Thursday night @ 5:30. There will be guys 171 and up there. Grimes will be there along with the LN coaching staff. Berry from WC has been in the open room. Stop in tomorrow, it will be a great room. Coach Weimer

Congrats to both IN teams on their victories today. All of you represented our state with class and competed like champions. A thanks goes out to Coach McCormick, you did a great job organizing this whole event. The A dual meet was very exciting with the dual coming to a dead heat at 25-25, but IN won on criteria. I couldn't see every match, but it was back and fourth the whole time. The AA dual meet, our kids came to wrestle and it showed. 112 lost by TF 119 won by maj Dec 125 won by TF 130 won by dec 135 won by dec 140 won by fall 145 won by dec 152 won by fall 160 lost by dec 171 won by fall 189 lost by dec, TKD in OT 215 lost by dec or maj dec HWT lost by dec 103 lost by ??? I was wandering the same? Why wouldn't Morrison wrestle? He has ties in Indiana and it would have been a great match up between 2 nationally ranked kids. I hate to see that we will not have this match-up.

It was packed with studs last night!! Good luck to everyone that will be wrestling in the IN/ILL duals or Folkstyle state this weekend. Thank you to Brandon Sission and Issac Kanable both former IU wrestlers for bringing your kids up and wrestling with us. Hope to see you guys in the future. Next week same time same place!! LN open Room tonight @ 530!! We had a great room last week filled with elite level wrestlers from top to bottom. Nelson, Wright, Quiroga, Odom, Mascaro, Goodwin, Grimes, Berry just to name a few. If you want to get prepared for IN/ILL duals, Folkstyle State, NHSCA VA. Beach Nationals stop in. Looking forward to seeing the Highlanders of Floyd Central and their coach, former IU wrester Brandon Sisson stop in and bring some of that dirty south wrestling everyone has heard about!!!! Come in and TOE the LINE with some of the best wrestlers and coaches in central Indiana. Coach Weimer

Yes, it was a great room! Wright, Cashe, Mascaro, Nelson, and Odom were a great group to watch and wrestle with. Grimes, Berry, Coach Williams, Coach Douglas, and Coach Gondol was another great group to watch wrestle. We have studs from top to bottom in the room last night and hope to have more next Thursday. I doesn't matter what weight you are we have someone in the room that is a state champ or placer to battle with. I got a great workout in. GrecoRef, I got 2 takedowns last night!!!!! Hope to see everyone there next week. I hear some KY studs might cross the river to see what IN wrestling is all about next Thursday. Stop in! Coach Weimer

Lawrence North Open Room starts tonight at 5:30!!! There are no technique sessions; just a quick warm-up and then we wrestle. Last year we had a great room full of elite wrestlers, coaches, and MMA athletes toeing the line and battling each other. This is a tremendous training opportunity for any athlete who wants to take their wrestling to the next level!! Be there at 5:30 to Toe The Line and Battle with some of the best in our state and nation!! Coach Weimer Lawrence North HS 7802 Hague Road Indianapolis, IN 46256 Enter on north west corner of the building (There is a new set of doors not yet numbered next to entrance #5). The wrestling room is located upstairs in the main gym.

We are excited to host this open room again! The goal of the open room is to make our state become a part of that elite group of states within the nation. We want the best wrestlers in the state to come in and battle with each other!!!! It is a great atmosphere with elite level wrestlers toeing the line and elite coaches jumping into the mix also!! Grecoref, I have been training very hard this season to get that takedown on Coach Williams and my time is NOW!!!! Don?t miss the action it will be insane! Coach Weimer

I would say Quiroga is the regular Season MVP with the run he had but I want to know, WHO DO YOU THINK are the front runners for the tournament Series MVP? Who are some kids that have caught fire in the post season that many would not know about but could win a title???
