  1. How good is Kinser when that kid knew a headlock was coming and he still couldn't stop it. Let's see what Young can do, I am not sure that Wisconsin has a big enough lead to hold IU off.
  2. Anyone else think that Coughlin should have picked bottom to start the 3rd? Not sure it would have mattered anyways. He might have given up the riding time point.
  3. Apparently the powers that be didn't want me to clarify the situation for those unfamiliar to it. > Nice win Hunter.
  4. Not trying to start anything, but did Meska or the Union City kid even make it out of sectionals last year? Do the two of them have big victories this year that give everyone reason they will be in contention?
  5. Cooper is a pretty decent HWT, I am not sure a 215 that has somewhat struggled this year is going to come in and just tear him up.
  6. Ya, I see now that that was Schultz, not Schwartz. My bad.
  7. After way too much research and several headaches..... Here are my bold and completely useless predictions: Final Team Scores Bellmont-219 Homestead-197 DeKalb-168 Carroll-155 East Noble-121 New Haven-105 Columbia City-77 Norwell-38 My Top 3: 103-Bowman-Frane-Wilson 112-Kissinger-Mix-Ables 119-Franklin-Keuneke-Shaffer 125-Rushing-Sexton-Melcher 130-Smith-Poynter-Riecke 135-Norton-Faurote-Grimes 140-Gaff-Bloomfield-Norris 145-Lefever-Francois-Boman 152-LaRowe-Timmerman-Mahlan 160-Hankenson-Lefever-Hammel 171-Raypole-Stebing-Galilei 189-Thatcher-Hope-Enrietto 215-Bultemeier-Mills-Andis 285-Meyer-Shoemaker-Pritchard On a less important note, I will not be in attendance. Anyone that can post updates or results would be greatly appreciated.
  8. 1. Randy Baker 2. Shane Perkey 3. Adam Chalfant 4. Eric Galka 5. JT Young
  9. Sorry about the mixup. I am not sure how I got that one messed up and not the others. Everything else should be right now. I put them in order too.
  10. 1. Peru, 6 pm ET Match 1: Marion vs. Logansport Match 2: McCutcheon vs. Huntington North 2. Jasper, 6:30 pm ET Match 1: Jasper vs. #5 Castle. Match 2: #6 Ev. Reitz vs. #16 Jeffersonville 3. Seymour, 6 pm ET Match 1: New Castle vs. South Dearborn Match 2: Jennings County vs. #14 New Palestine 4. Adams Central, 6 pm ET Match 1: Homestead vs. Whitko Match 2: #12 Bellmont vs. #3 Yorktown 5. Greencastle, 6 pm ET Match 1: #15 Franklin vs. #11 Bloomington South Match 2: Brownsburg vs. #4 Perry Meridian 6. North Montgomery, 6 pm ET Match 1: #13 Cathedral vs. Alexandria Match 2: Fountain Central vs. #19 Carmel 7. Portage, 6 pm CT Match 1: Munster vs. #9 Portage Match 2: #2 Crown Point vs. #8 Merrillville 8. Jimtown, 6 pm ET Match 1: DeKalb vs. Elkhart Memorial Match 2: Warsaw vs. #1 Mishawaka
  11. Ya, Merrillville definitely got the benefit of that draw. With all the rules about forfeiting in the team tournament after you've won, it makes coaching in those matches that much harder I bet. As long as no one pulls a Peru, it should be a great Wednesday of wrestling.
  12. To be honest, this is the draw that we needed to make the day as competitive as possible. Crown Point gets its shot at Mishawaka again. Then Mishawaka has to deal with a PM team that will definitely want some revenge. And once they get to the finals, they get Yorktown, and they're the only team left in the state that has a chance against them. Mishawaka has already beaten Crown Point, Cathedral, Perry Meridian, and Castle.
  13. lol, Yes it is official. It's a random draw, get over it.
  14. Faurote has beaten Schwartz from AC, who is ranked at 140. Riedling from New Pal, who is ranked at 145. Lost to Hill of Jimtown on a coin flip at the Al Smith. He beat Guerra from Mishawaka, Wartman from Lake Central, the LN kid at the Al Smith and beat the Perry kid at the Super Dual.
  15. haha, because Faurote doesn't have any tough training in his background? I'm sure he eats cheese puffs and potato chips all summer while watching Spongebob. I'm not saying that Faurote will win, but I don't think it will be because his training was better than Faurote's....
  16. 1. Peru, 6 pm ET Match 1: Marion vs. Logansport Match 2: McCutcheon vs. Huntington North 2. Jasper, 6:30 pm ET Match 1: Jasper vs. #5 Castle. Match 2: #6 Ev. Reitz vs. #16 Jeffersonville 3. Seymour, 6 pm ET Match 1: New Castle vs. South Dearborn Match 2: Jennings County vs. #14 New Palestine 4. Adams Central, 6 pm ET Match 1: Homestead vs. Whitko Match 2: #12 Bellmont vs. #3 Yorktown 5. Greencastle, 6 pm ET Match 1: #15 Franklin vs. #11 Bloomington South Match 2: Brownsburg vs. #4 Perry Meridian 6. North Montgomery, 6 pm ET Match 1: #13 Cathedral vs. Alexandria Match 2: Fountain Central vs. #19 Carmel 7. Portage, 6 pm CT Match 1: Munster vs. #9 Portage Match 2: #2 Crown Point vs. #8 Merrillville 8. Jimtown, 6 pm ET Match 1: DeKalb vs. Elkhart Memorial Match 2: Warsaw vs. #1 Mishawaka
  17. Aren't the Team Regional pairings the same each year? I know the AC Regional is the same.
  18. Wow Y2, I was just getting ready to post the exact same thing....
  19. I think the New Pal/Yorktown match could also be interesting just because of the fact that they are in the same conference and will definitely be prepared for one another. Obviously, I think Yorktown still wins, but New Pal definitely has an advantage over a team that has not seen Yorktown before.
  20. Quarterfinals Match 1: Winner at Peru vs. Winner at Jasper. Match 2: Winner at Seymour vs. Winner at Adams Central. Match 3: Winner at Greencastle vs. Winner at North Montgomery. Match 4: Winner at Portage vs. Winner at Jimtown. According to Maligned, that would mean Match 1: McCutcheon vs. #7 EMD/#6 Reitz/#5 Castle Match 2: #14 New Palestine vs. #3 Yorktown Match 3: #4 Perry Meridian vs. #13 Cathedral Match 4: #1 Mishawaka vs. #2 Crown Point
  21. No one is given points. If you're not smart enough to know not to run a full-nelson, you shouldn't be winning matches. There are reasons that some infractions are worth warnings, and others are worth points to your opponent. Those moves prohibit the opponent from scoring/put them in a dangerous position. A point is a point.
  22. that was definitely a wahoo-deserving comeback
  23. Who is the 189 for Carroll? I haven't seem that name at all this year.
