And anyone. Though it is technically illegal to tape another wrestler, people do it all the time. In fact, I saw someone doing it on Saturday... their wrestler won the semi-final and they were taping the other semi-final, and they were NOT being discrete about it. I don't really understand how someone gets caught unless they are ratted out.

Ummm... well hopefully they do have shaved ice then, because I'm sure the contents of that flask would be a great flavor over shaved ice.

Yea, I talked to the shaved ice guy at Middle School State, and he said they weren't sending anyone. Not sure if someone else does it just not him or what the deal is...

Before it was the Bulls' intro music, it was the PISTONS' intro music. And it is a phenomenal song. The Alan Parsons Project really outdid themselves! 8)

Devin Jackson 4. Jacob Armantrout . The most impressive thing about getting three from our sectional to State is Jacob Armantrout, especially when you consider his road through Semi-State. Beat Miller and Barroquillo, then had Stevie in overtime. Great job to three OUTSTANDING young men! -
Jay County Regional guys looked great today! Congrats to all 25, especially the 8 top dogs, and best of luck next week fellas!!

Tom Ginter- Penn over Mike Dubes- Delphi. 135 in 2005. Ginter got third in his Regional and Dubes was undefeated. I think the score was like 11-10 or something nuts like that. And Tommy got a reversal with 20 seconds or so to go.

Going to classes will not stop this. Colleges are classed but your going to tell me a coach would not move from U of I to Michigan given the opportunity? You can't possibly think that a guy like Joey, no matter what school he was assisting at, would be an assistant long. I have great assistants, but I'm not naive. I know they will be head coaches someday. And moving up in classes, enrollment, etc. turns into a money game which does handcuff small schools.

Are they really?? Just looking around here: Trent took a terrible program, made them pretty good, and stayed. Ralph Smith at Wapahani is working on it, and I don't think he's headed anywhere. I'm kind of in the same ballpark as Ralph. I'm not arguing with you, I'm just wondering who does that.

What does that usually include?? Food! The Garrett AD is in charge and I told him we'll find a new SS to go to if the hospitality room isn't up to par. Ok Mr. Obvious! What FOOD does the hosp. room include?! I never made the connection.

Just got word from the top that he won't be wrestling on Saturday due to injury.

It's a very valid question. For some of us, we'll come up to Fort Wayne Friday right after practice, go eat and whatnot. Saturday, get to there at 6:30 wrestle all day, get back at about 10:00. Sunday, get to New Castle at 7:30-8:00ish. I'm tired just thinking about it! Could Middle School State be ANY OTHER TIME!?!?

The IHSAA wants to find a champion. This system does that. It's their philosophy in all IHSAA sports. I'm not saying that I agree with that necessarily, but it's the way it is.
