  1. Mooresviile Quarterfinals: Parker Ben Davis @ 126, upset by Southport's McMillan in overtime. Parker just took Billerman to overtime last week.
  2. Mooresville is going on today and tomorrow with the rest of the big one starting tomorrow.
  3. Look for Hansen to play spoiler at 182. Can anyone touch the Raney boys? Can UC knock off Mater Dei?
  4. Mater Dei will have to scrap to get more than one champ! Looks to be a great tournament on paper.
  5. Maybe you and Mike should be doing pre seeds for all the major tournaments! Connersville, Mater Dei, Mooresville...
  6. @Y2CJ41 are you or Indianamat doing the seedings? Great spread sheet!
  7. I just looked him up via Indianamat records... wow! Have we ever had a junior pin his way to a state championship? Bubba lost his sophomore year by one point to the eventual 7th place finisher. He went 2-1 under the old bracket format. Bubba won in the finals in one minute and 20 seconds against against BJ Scott, who was a junior and got 3rd as a senior. How tall was Bubba? Did he wrestle any in the off season?
  8. Yeah it was a tough one for me and I only based my predictions off of high school experience at the state finals.
  9. This is such a tough bracket. Andrew Howe is the clear winner but to determine placement. I used their record at the state finals. I wanted to use which ones had the most falls/tech falls but don't have the time. State finals records 1st Andrew Howe 15-1 T-2nd Drew Hughes 14-2 T-2nd jordan Slvika 14-2 T-2nd Sean McMurray 14-2 5th Cooper Samuels 13-3 6th Jacob Covaciu 11-2 7th Brian Harvey 11-5 8th J Conway 10-3 9th Briar Runyon 10-2 Paul Young 8-0 Nick South 8-0 Brody Baumman 8-1 Chad Welch 7-3 Bryce Houseman 4-0 Chris Cooper 4-1

MY gut tells me CP wins 8 matches to 6. But never count out the Mater Dei magic.

  19. #11 Branson Weaver 15-0 wins by pin over Kelby Glenn 19-1. Kelby was up 5-3 in the 3rd when Branson pinned him. Kelby isn't ranked in state or semi state but he's been around forever. He lost to Joey Butler 7-4 in the ticket round. Look for Weaver and Glenn at semi state to try their best to punch their ticket.
  20. # 2 Anthony Bahl (Crown Point) won by decision over # 7 Mason Day (Brownsburg) (Dec 9-4)
  21. Respect to CP and BB for taking on the most brutal schedule for an Indiana team, EVER. None of their state champs this year will be undefeated. This is what Indiana needs to take its wrestling to the next level.
  22. Wrestlers I think could compete with or beat CC. -Mason Parris -Shawn Streck -Dexter Larimore -Chico Adams -Adam Chalfant -Evan Ellis -Gunnar Larson -Eli Pokorney -Kobe Woods
  23. Brooks- 5th, 2nd, and 1st at state. Fargo freestyle 2nd and Super 32, 1st.(via Indianamat) 20 wins and 2 loss MMA record. Just won the ONE FC championship. He will hopefully get DJ (THE GOAT) next. I am not sure why he isn't in the UFC anymore. His legit only loss is to Deiveson Figuerir which was a split decision. Deiveson went on to be UFC champ. Brooks lost his second fight when he KO'd himself when he suped a guy, in a fight he was winning. Anyways, Brooks is finally get paid like he should now and at the top of fight game outside the UFC.
  24. Brownsbrug placers:2 Dickman and Jones Crown Point placers:6 Frazier, Rhinehart, Goin, Cruz, Clark, Clark
