Carroll does not showcase the finals! Seems like every tournament I go to down here wants to showcase the finals, why? Get in, get our wrestling done and maybe we can see some daylight every once in awhile. THE STATE FINALS are what needs to be showcased. That is our goal. I would much rather watch the 1st/2nd place match along with the 3rd/4th place match any day than watch one round and then the other. Those guys are moving on to the same place the weekend after. I had results from the Carroll Regional before the BS Reg. 3rd/4th place round was over.

Sorry to bring this up again, but I have helped coach this kid for the last few years and Im not sure what you are talking about on the multiple occasions either. Please explain. I know hes a big physical wrestler, but I have not really seen anything dirty from him. And yes Awood1 I will stand behind my wrestler as I don't believe he did this on purpose. We have other coaches that are on our coaching staff that if they found it to be on purpose, this wrestler would have a "meeting in the office." -

What bite are you talking about? The unsportsman like conduct came when they went out of bounds and your wrestler was shoved off. I agreed with the call as it was a late and unnesessary push, the referee told the wrestler what he did wrong when they returned to the center of the mat. The fishhook you are talking about, I did not witness, but have heard about. Our wrestler says it was an accident, I have to take his word. But you obviously have to take your wrestler's word. There was no BITE involved though. -

Anyone remember the HWT finals of 2003 I think. The firealarms went off during the match. That will be something I won't ever forget.

I don't know how many state titles Portage has won, but it does take a great coach to knock off THE 9-time defending state champs in Evansville Mater Dei back in the heated team state of 2004.

Hey y2j or i mean joe, what size hat do you wear? has it increase lately? hahahahah no i am joking and this looks like it could be heading indiana wrestling into a good direction.
