Its not a Warren/bandwidth problem.   I’m having the same issue at home.

it was a bandwidth problem streaming FROM the school, making it so they didn't have the bandwidth to get info from Trackwrestling TO the tables.  Had nothing to do with your connection at home.

Has anyone checked on @DawgPoundRed, I’m concerned for his well being.

    7 state champs? 1.

All time team score? 3rd place.
More state champs than 1 SS? Nope.

I hope he didn’t partake in the casinos in Evansville.

To be fair, if you would have put the over/under at 1 on the number of CP champs, I think most people on this site would have taken the over.

That's what's weird, is I don't think I've ever seen them (to a man) *NOT* push the pace and be the one dictating how the match would play out.  Win or lose, they were aggressive for the full 6 minutes in every match I'd watched this year.

    Edit, cuz I'm dumb...

I thought the same, but I do think that they all learned a big lesson of that bullseye on their back was real and nobody was going to just give it to them.  I do believe they will come back stronger next year with their eyes wide open, wrestling to score and not wrestling the clock.

Agreed not the same team that they were throughout the year.

I genuinely thought based on how they had wrestled the entire year up to this point that when they qualified 12 through Semi-State with the number of champions they had that the state title was sewn up and they were on track to set an unbreakable record for team points.  This state finals does not seem at all like the CP I'd seen all year.

And CP is the only town in Indiana doing the exact same things?  Don’t be so full of yourself. It’s a small town of 35k people, and it’s nothing special. The only difference between them and the rest of the state is their recruiting. They used their recent 4-timer to recruit and are still snowballing from his pull. When the IHSAA finally decides to investigate them, they will at least be stripped of all tournament and dual wins over the past 5 years.

I doubt they'll be stripped of anything.  Having a 4 time champion gets parents asking about the school/program and what it's like to live in the neighborhood.  They here "nice houses, low crime, good schools with all sorts of quality programs beyond athletics" and they decide that's where they should send their kids.  It's not any different at BB, CG, Bloomington South, Columbus East, Jeffersonville, or a handful of other schools.  Success breeds interest, which brings in people from anywhere nearby, which brings in more money, which breeds more success.

Just curious, when did they wrestle? Beck is currently undefeated. I'm not saying Beck will beat Rhinehart, just didn't know they wrestled.

I think he's saying they have a common opponent in Kennedy, with Beck winning 8-7 and Rhinehart winning by pin.

Anyone know which school holds the record for most state qualifiers in a season and how many? Thought maybe Center Grove tied the Mater Dei record last year with 12.

CG currently is the only team to have qualified 12, although crown point just might break that record this year with their 14 at semi state that (IIRC) are all 1s or 2s.

With the technology we have today that we can see each other through computers, phones, and TVs, how come you can't seed the regionals, semi-state, and state?

because seeding those events would ignore the performance in the previous round of the tournament.  That would mean that some kid who won his sectional/regional/semi-state could theoretically be seeded lower than someone who placed 4th in theirs because of how the criteria is shaped.

I didn’t say guaranteed, but my pick. Haven’t seen him wrestle this year, but I liked him last year for sure. I know they will meet at semi state as well!

Wyatt looked great last year, but he's on a different level this year.  I'm not sure anyone in the state is catching him.

Southport 150 - Getz lost by medical forfeit.  In fact, the North Central wrestler appears to have won both of his matches by medical forfeits!  What is going on?

That's weird.  I saw in the Mooresville sectional, there was a Injury forfeit at 150 in the quarter finals, then that kid came back to wrestle his way into the 5th place.
