    For us personally it was a hard choice to make between frosh soph and small school state. We leaned towards frosh soph In the beginning because we assumed there would be high quality competition. We ended up choosing small school state because the 1 day event was a lot more appealing then 2 days. regardless I seen some of the brackets and pleased with our decision. Small school state pulled in a lot of ranked kids and state qualifiers.

    Registration is closed in it, I didn’t know anything about it until like 3 weeks ago looking for competition threw track. 32 man bracket broken down into 4 sections with 8 wrestlers from the same area to represent there semistate. Then in the senifinals you will face another area of the state. has over 400 wrestlers registered. Going to be an awesome weekend

    Dude wrestling has evolved along with technology. I love it! There is some very high quality free instructional film on YouTube that you can learn from. I was just watching a break down on desanto foot sweep. Anyways with flo wrestling, track and Facebook finding footage on any wrestler is so easy. Learning moves from film is easier, finding open mats, competition is easier. Look at the assassin for example 6 years ago it was uncommon to see it now people hitting left and right. Why? Facebook, film, flow ect. Kids are getting way way better with scrambles it amazes me also.

    Jesse is so good that I am not going to renew my Iowa season tickets anymore. I’m going to go ahead and get me set of Ohio season tickets just because he will be a huge influence for Ohio the next 4-6 years. i smell a national team title coming.

    I got a 120lb sophomore that will be looking for a dual team this off-season. He can be 120-132 for you if needed. He is a 2x regional champ and a 2x state alternate. Willing to travel and hoping to compete at high level duals.

    Billerman has looked really good all tournament long, lots and lots of points. But Leavell will slow him down. Tough to wrestle the same guy multiple times in a months time.

    I was in line for about 20 minutes, I was really hungry.... I dont think they were strict at all for semistate, on the offseason they hosted Midwest nationals and you couldnt even bring in a energy drink.

    Lawn chairs at the top are next level. Level 1 leaning on the bleachers behind ( Pesent) Level 2 having a bleacher chair ( Boss) Level 3 bringing a lawn chair ( Luxury )
