    Mendez did well yesterday, I think takeaways from that match is that he can get off bottom, can continue to push the pace, and wrestles the entire match. He will still be at the top.

    Bouzakis is set to compete in the freshman/sophomore division while Jesse will be in the open division…. possible byrd vs Jesse Mendez will be a great measuring stick for where our boy stacks up. Byrd is tough and AA and can bang with the best.

    106- NE 113-UC 120-UC 126-UC 132-EC (I am really excited to see how freshman Thrine will stack up against wolf if they both go this weight) 138-NC 145-NC 152-NC 160-UC 170- 182 195 220 285 This is all I have so far, but it is definitely a start.

    Jesse almost beats gross… what make you think he can’t bang with fix and rby? Jesse is coming into his freshman college year more seasoned then French fries at a fair.

    For those that dont know Jesse just pinned Koontz in 1:58 at his debut in Covelli Center. With this win over someone that has been in the game for a minute in college wrestling how will he stack up against the rest of the 133 field? I believe and hope if Ohio makes him start this season, we will see him being a contender right away for a NCAA title. I hate to be the guy that uses freestyle wrestling as a measuring stick for Folkstyle but come on! Jesse just about took out Gross a few couple of months ago and Gross turns around and took out FIX! I want to and feel like this is a good indicator that RBY vs Mendez is going to be FIRE!! If and when it happens OfCourse.

    I am really impressed by this program on bringing in so many high-level athletes to it.

    To make things simple, I have left my dear Indiana and moved to Savannah Georgia. The issue I am facing here is...... No Wrestling?!? How the heck am I going to get my wrestling fix out here? I have searched for college wrestling teams to follow out here ( you know get some season tickets and convert to a fan for them) however there is absolutely nothing that I can find. Shoot I think the closest even will be the collegient duals in new orleans but still that is a 9 hour drive! Does anybody know of some JUCO/ ncaa wrestling programs out here for me to follow?
