LOL I have never heard head to head explained like that.

    Same.

So, you guys (OH) wrestle Miss in three duals, Eastbrook in 2 and MG in 2.

Thats 7 wins against the field for a lot of your guys. In most cases it won't matter if my guy beat yours at that western invite because we won't have that many "wins against the bracket".

    Care to elaborate???

wrestler A is 6-1 against the sectional field at the weight class.

wrestler B is 3-0 against the field with a win over wrestler A.

Wrestler A is the one seed for having most wins against the sectional field.

"wrestler with the most WINS against opponents in the bracket gets the one seed. It does not matter if Wrester A lost to wrestler B in the bracket as long as wrestler A has the most wins in the bracket. Wrestler A gets the seed."

  3. From the flyer,

"Club coaches with 1-5 wrestlers 1 WB,6-10 wrestlers 2 WB, 11-20 wrestlers 3 WB, 21-30 4 WB, 30&up 5 Wristbands. These club coaches are required to provide credentials for bands for entry. Unless you are the designated club coach a spectator band will be required."

‼️It appears wrestling is taking place at two different locations (Warren and Lakeside Elementary). Not ideal to limit wristbands with this the case, 3 coaches for 20 wrestlers..

Robert also said he was pushing for the awards to be on the podium but that the powers to be really liked being able to hand out the awards after the matches. Trev let me know if I heard that wrong.

That's the way I understood as well; Robert wants to have the awards back to normal on the podium. Not on the mat, however, some of the important folks enjoyed their time in front of the crowd.

  5. Late November there was a Fort Wayne officials / coaches meeting where Robert was in attendance and spoke about this topic.

Again this was in November, but my understanding at that moment he stated there would be a normal parade of champions despite the separate wrestling sessions (all weight classes for the parade). It was asked if wrestlers in the different session would again have to stay behind at the hotel during the other session and he stated no, not this year because that presented a supervision issue with the wrestlers staying behind.

It was also mentioned they would likely do the reserved seating again, but not have a capacity limit like last year...unless Marion county at that point has a restriction.
