Thanks. But, Ugh sounds like it’s pay another time to view for most people.

Looks like Bally Sports indiana has a 7 day free trial that may work to push the viewing problem down the road until at least next year. Ballys Network is trending to go under for good by then so who knows the viewing option by next year.

Anyone know if just watching the finals on IHSAA App would be pro-rated cost rather than paying for the whole weekend worth?

$15.75 for the Finals on IHSAA

I can't even get Bally Sports Indiana so a free trial isn't an option.  I knew I was going to get screwed with this.

That sucks and why I've been gun shy to assume what the IHSAA put it was actually true.

I'm completely screwed.  I'm out of State so I'm not even eligible to get Bally Sports Indiana.

Guess I am confused.  This is from IHSAA.org:

Streaming: All matches on Friday and Saturday, including Saturday night’s championship round, may be viewed via live stream for a subscription fee of $15 via IHSAAtv.org.  If you have a FloPro+ plan, you may also view the livestream at FloWrestling.com.  Saturday night’s championship round may also be found on the Bally Sports+ app.

I don't have Flo, is FloPro+ a different plan or something?  I purchased the package on IHSAAtv, I as able to login for the finals tonight, just said broadcast scheduled. So assuming (& hoping), Finals are included.

You'll be fine.  It's those of us with Flo that don't trust what that says.  In the past, it has not been that way and you had to watch the Finals on IHSAA TV if you weren't in the TV viewing area.  I'm assuming it's different this year, but not 100% confident.

As much as I was hoping to make it up for state life priorities (wife’s birthday) took precedence this time.

Does anyone have confirmation on the streaming options for the championship finals matches.  In years past it wasn’t carried on FLO so your only options were the IHSAA app (which used to be free) or having Bally Sports TV (formally Fox Sports).   The wording on the IHSAA site isn’t super clear on the  Championship match viewing and I don’t want curveball to occur when the finals get started.

I know it’s on Ballys TV but that’s not carried by many providers anymore, including mine.  And from the current IHSAA app options they are charging for the finals as part of the whole state package.  But possibly the Championship finals only free option just isn’t up yet.

So can anyone confirm if the finals will actually be on Flo this year?  Or are the finals only still free on IHSAA app rather than part of the entire day pay option?

I asked the same question last week, thinking ahead.  It seems it will be available on Flo, but I know exactly what you are saying, so I am half expecting to have to scramble tonight.  Hopeful I won't.

IHSAA used to be free for the Finals, but blacked out locally. It was available if you were out of the Fox Sports Indiana viewing area.  That was not the case during Football season so I am hoping Flo will have it, even if it's not the state broadcast (which would be disappointing but at least something).

Flo is awful!!!!! Why do we pay so much for the feed to be so bad!

I've had next to zero issues at all and none today.  Watching via the Flo app on two TV's and on my laptop.

I will refrain from clapping tomorrow…

It's all good :) I was just reporting what happened (or what I thought might have happened). I appreciate having people on the mic.  At other tournaments it's either silence, crowd noise only or someone working the table talking into the mic about everything but wrestling.  A big improvement, clapping or no.  It was just funny because I heard him tell you the 2nd time.  The first time you told on yourself.  ;)

I generally watch these matches without a ton of rooting interest, so I am not too offended by them.  But I have noticed over the years, some of the guys announce like they are coaching, describing what the wrestler should be doing.  It can come across as biased, especially if it's not favoring "your guy", but I don't mind it.  I think it's natural for guys that are former wrestlers/coaches, etc and not professional broadcasters to call it that way.  To me it adds flavor.

I just hate it when they butcher names, but that's one of my peeves.  ha ha

I'm not a ref, or ever trained to be one. I think a lot of the calls mentioned were surprising to me. Being from the region I was used to stalling not being called as frequently as  I seen today outside of  our area. I'm not saying one way is better than the other I've just always thought (my opinion) that in the past  different areas in the state had different technics.

I'm with you on that.  Not an expert, but have watched a lot of wrestling.  In the match in question, there were questionable calls on both sides.  Note that doesn't make them wrong.  I didn't like the "fleeing" call and am not sure how they typically call stalling in the UTB period.  It was my impression that the referee pretty much swallowed their whistle because the battle was escape or don't allow an escape.  But I see so few of those matches I can't speak to it.  Of course, on the fleeing call, the camera did not allow a full angle so I could be wrong.

Sure there is a chance.  CG just lost their first guy in Stits who lost in SV.  Brownsburg's shot is having a handful of guys that could win it all.  But it will definitely be one of those 3.

I should have said there's a chance, but it's not likely.  ha ha

Wasn't the 4 people running Track for the tournament, so I am not sure who yelled at them.

Also, we know that Mat 3 went down.  We have it back up now! Sorry!

Hey TrackG, why do none of the brackets have links to the wrestlers profiles for this event?  The Evansville SS was done the same way, but at least the day of (or night before) the event they were all linked.  Just seems like someone missed that big time.  Not sure who is responsible for that.

The southern bias is unbelievable. Pretty sure I remember him from last year, didn't like his commentary then either.

I'm not sure which match the previous poster was referring to, but I just watched the 1st 220 lb match on Mat 4 and he sounded fine to me.  He referenced his daughter being a trainer at Lawrence North or something to that effect.  Not sure what you consider South, but if he's favoring Lawrence North, I'm not sure how that qualifies as "southern bias".

I was guessing someone from the IHSAA, a tournament official perhaps?  It wasn't egregious and I'd liken it more to a slap on the wrist than a spanking, for lack of a better comparison.

Believe Nick Hull is on 4 as well.  Mat 1 is Noah Warren and cant remember the other guys name, pretty sure an ex PM wrestler.  One of them i believe works with or helps at CG, gets very excited when they are up. Haha.  Doing a nice job!

The guy from CG has been told at least twice to chill.  Heard someone in the background during the Stits match "You've got to refrain yourself".  Earlier he commented that he "got in trouble"
