Last weekends tournament can seed however they see fit, it has nothing to do with the Sectional seeding process. The seeding criteria for Sectionals is very clearly spelled out in the Winter Bulletin. The Winter bulletin, along with this message board, are your resources.

I'm pretty sure Overmyer(Winamac) wrestled Rehn(West Central) in the 126lbs finals last year...

I think that you would get a more accurate look at whether or not a class system would be "justified" if you look at these numbers in terms of number of state qualifiers per capita. 3A schools sent 78% of the state qualifiers, while the 1A schools only sent 7%; but if the 3A schools account for 78% of the possible wrestlers(enrolled students) and the 1A schools only account for 7%, these numbers aren't that far off. But if the 3A schools are sending 78% of the wrestlers to state, but only account for 50% of the possible wresters, maybe a class system would be appropriate.

Rensselear High School has a 9th and 10th grade tournament the weekend before sectionals each year. 9th graders vs. 9th graders, 10th vs. 10th. A lot of good teams, the only downside is that its single elimination until the semi finals. Good luck
