  1. Listed in 120- Peavler is a junior, not a senior and in 126 Austin Ward is a junior, not a sophomore....come on BBB you just saw these kids last weekend ;D
  2. Overlooking someone is the quickest way to lose. Jamison is the heavy underdog and has nothing to lose so he'll give it his all and might surprise you all.
  3. Jamison will get the decision.... 5-3, possibly even a pin because Lahue is somewhat predictable and easy to catch.
  4. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. @mustand13 From New Albany-Austin Jamison at 126 and Bryce Peavler at 120.
  6. @navy80 Engleking got beat today at 120 by New Albany's Bryce Peavler 3-1 who went to SS last year. Holwager also got beat at 126 by New Albany's Austin Jamison 4-3 today.
  7. Ward's brother goes to New Albany.....HHC is wide open this year in many weight classes....going to be interesting.
  8. @triple B..you might wanna tell your Floyd county sources...they need to report a little quicker. ;D. I do have insider knowledge.....
  9. @Triple B...Tre Lynch is not going 120 this year. Bryce Peavler, who was New ALbany 120lb last yer and went to semi=state is going to be at 120 again, and Austin Jamison will be going 126 again this year and not 132.
  10. @Triple B...a little premature since schools have not even had the intra squad meets to determine varsity spots....you seem to have some way off.
  11. The realignment has some good and bad points, but why in the world would you have jennings county sectional and Jeffersonville sectional together. HHC part 3
  12. Basically the question is as follows. There is school number 1 who had 2 wrestlers transfer to school 2, but had to sit out a year because the school would not sign off on the transfer, However school 1 received 2 brothers who play basketball from school c. They were allowed to play because school c did not fight the transfer. Claimed academic reasons, right, they transferred from a private school to a public school. Reason being DADDY did not like the coach at the private school. IS this not a double standard involving school 1 since they disallowed 2 wrestlers to transfer but gladly let these basketball players come on in. Hence knocking kids out of playing time. Best part is their new basketball team lost in the sectionals but that old team is SEMI-STATE bound. Ironic. Reason for the question is that school 1 has a wrestler who is one of their best , parents thinking about moving from an apartment to a house. Just so happens to be in another district. School 1 , looking at past records probably will not release the wrestler, making him miss a year. SO the parent is gonna stay put so the wrestler is not punished. Makes ya wonder why. Just so happens that school 1 has been a basketball powerhouse for many years and wrestling is a sport that many come out for. Things that make ya wonder about. Maybe the parent should talk to the AD and bring to light the questions with the ball players.
  13. What a wonderful story about a remarkable person. It goes to show you great wrestling coaches are and at what lenghs coaches go to turn young wrestlers into MEN. I can relate with this coach and how he turned special ed kids life around. I have a son who was labeled as a special ed student, always suspended from school in elementary and middle school at many times the administration tried to expell him. It took a wonderful wrestling coach in my sons middle school to realize what kind of person my child was. I am proud to say that as a sophomore my son has made honor roll every time in his freshman and sophomore years, and he has also qualified for semi state. Thanks to this remarkable wrestling coach who took the time to understand my child and countless others in the same situation. No longer is my son labeled a special needs child. He is now a leader in the school.
  14. I agree. We need to shoe the state there are good quality wrestlers in this part of Indiana also.[/b] Shouldn't it be show and not shoe...Bahahaha..lol
  15. Way to go Team Jeff. You guys are a class act.

  18. Seems like Shepherd(ranked at 113) wrestled this past tourny at 120. Do you think he will stay there or go back to 113. Seems road to state is packed more at 120. If he is staying at 120 could it be because of Lahue or could he really be having trouble keeping the low weight down.
  19. I don't think this match will happen- Isn't varsity A going to Louisville and the Varsity B is with Corydon.
  20. Jamison who is ranked in 126 win over Lahue was at 126 and not 120.
  21. We did at the tell city duals because some wrestlers did not make weight. Our 113 is sick and the 120 is hurt now. SO don't know if those 2 will be wrestling tomorrow.
  22. NA has no forfeits in weight classes this year. Might surprise a few in some classes. Jamison at 126, Peavler 120, Lesor at 220, Lynch at 106, Lynch at 195 at Lee at 182> All in all the team is very young this year. Alot of first year wrestlers. Team is just wanting to get better. Excellent coaches in Burres, Binkley and Lynch. Tim Martin has been coming in and working with a few wrestlers to make them better.
  23. 106: NA forfeit vs. TC win 113: NA forfeit vs. TC win 120: NA win vs. TC loss 126: NA loss vs. TC win 132: NA loss vs. TC win 138: NA win vs. TC forfeit 145: NA win vs. TC forfeit 152: NA win vs. TC loss 160: NA win vs. TC forfeit 170: NA loss vs. TC win 182: NA loss vs. TC win 195: NA win vs. TC forfeit 220: NA win vs. TC loss HWT: NA loss vs TC win
