You do realize it was at the end of the match, right after Forte came back from injury. I watched him at Al smith and he wasn't himself, he is now. I highly doubt lecount will win by pin. Seeing as it was anyone's match the whole time. If your really predicting a pin, I doubt you know much about wrestling, or are extremely bias.

I'm pretty sure a nationally ranked kid isn't considered a shocker pick... just saying.

But both Hildebrandt and cummings can win those matches, so you shouldn't write them off.

I strongly agree, partially because I was better on my feet, so I know how that can affect a match, and partially because I read don't like the 1,2,2 format anyways.

i thought about it but decided to stop there, I'm just saying there are talented wrestlers that can win state at the other semistates too, and pretty much guaranteeing 6 champs, when one has a returning champ in his weight, seems a bit ridiculous. They could win six, works, they will win six, doesnt.

Probably not because 106, 120, 126, 138, 145, 152, 170, 220 merrillville has some guys with a solid shot, heck, throw in 285 and an outside chance at 160.

They definitely didn't fix it. If the best team doesn't win, then obviously the individual tournament is not a good way go determine the champion. Now if Cathederal places behind Franklin, Mater dei, penn, and Perry, maybe it's not all bad, but since that's not likely, they messed up.

If Perry wins as a team he will. As for an individual title, Forte has just as much of a chance.

No, what they are saying is cathedral would not likely win if it were a dual tournament. So how does this show the best overall team? No, cathedral is tough and has a few studs but they would lose in a team bast tournament, as shown.

I think so, even though two of them beat a ranked wrestler to get out. I think some are underestimating the guys because of their records, and lack of talk (childers).

Forte did just come back a little before that. At the Al smith rentas I believe only lost to Forte 4-0. This time Forte was dominant. I'm not guaranteeing he will win, but I'm picking Forte.

Season results don't matter too much. Davis lost by one point to micic the first time, teched this time. Laughlin from sba got majored or something to trent of new prairie during the year but beat him 11-8 to make it to state. Olsen from sba beat Warner from riley during the year, Warner beat him at the end of the season. Just using examples I'm familiar with, and I could find a few others. -
If gross and donaldson were top 2, no one would have said it were weak. Carithers struggled against Warner because Warner is good. They might not have any place, but imo any of the four could. I think because gross (who gave wilson a good mach, even if that was strictly a matchup issue) and donaldson didn't make it, I like our odds to get at least one or two placers out of this "weak" weight.

I thought they said the trainer wouldn't let the match continue, so he couldn't just sit on the line for 10 sec and take the loss. -
i was saying that micic dominated imo a tougher field. I could be wrong but I don't think I am. Micic is a great wrestler and is ranked so highly for a reason. His biggest knock on the national stage is that he primarily wrestles only freestyle on the national level. Would I be surprised if Lee won? No. Would I be surprised if Micic majored Lee? No, not really.

I'm excited to see lee wrestle but I would be surprised if he beats micic. If he does, he's likely the best freshman to come threw indiana and I'm sorry but if he does win, I doubt anyone even touches him the next 3 years, even if someone like red ends up in his weight.
