exactly...and you know how many times I have seen wrestlers lose in regionals to someone they beat in regular season or sectionals...alot.

totally agree with you about steele...thats who I want to win but I pick how I would bet $ on...but yes, steele could just as easily won that.

Don't know who you are but I have to say that was well said. Very classy and congrats to you. I have only seen you wrestle I think 1 time last year and I knew when I saw the sectional brackets I thought that was one tough weight class. I will be at regionals and look forward to watching you wrestle. This was very mature of you.

agreed, hartman is real good but since spartan he hasnt showed it. I know what he can do but since getting his teeth knocked out by that headbutt, he seems to have taken a step back. hopefully he will be ok because although I dont know him personally, i know several that do and I know him to be a good kid.

Cant say for 100% but I know I have not seen anyone other than blake wood wrestling 138 for rushville all year. I know that day billy decker was 138 and I know christian cox from hagerstown beat blake wood that day and I think that was also at 138.

centervilles #4 seed, austin killion, is out sick from the shenandoah sectionals. bad way to end the season. at least he is a junior and can give it heck next year

Blake Giffin from south dearborn wrestling 145 last year gets 3rd at sectionals behind cody house and nolan feller. then onto regionals and places 3rd behind feller and house again. then onto semi state placing 4th behind vinny corsaro, feller and john tatom (ahead of house and john blanton). finally state and places 3rd behind jason tsirtsis and corsaro. That just seems to be an incredible feat. always wrestler higher seeds and still winning. how odd is that? i cant see that something like that happens every year. he was a junior last year and I dont see him listed in sectionals so I guess he isnt wrestling this year. wow

whoops, went off on a tangent there. sorry, my "A.D.D." kicked in again. it gets real bad during state series time of year. last night i couldnt sleep so I tried counting sheep and it kick in again and I went one sheep, two sheep, cow, pig, Old MacDonald had a farm. Hey Macarena!

LOL i'm kidding, i'm kidding. this is my humor. he just reminds me of a young me. his dads name is mark and also a bada$$, my dads name is mark and was a fata$$. he is a great wrestler, i was a great wrestler on nintendo. he has cool hair, i had a mullet (when mullets were cool). he is built like a rock, i had one for a pet. so you can now understand the similarities here. its just like I am watching myself out there.

oh yea? well I just got 2 words for ya...austin mccloskey baby. crap, that was 3 words. take the baby part off and just use that and thats the 2 words. i dont want to have to backspace. also, at least tatom can say he hung with mccloskey for awhile since they start off tied. but then again all his competitors start off tied with him and it didnt seem to work out for any of them. yea, tatum is screwed. p.s. i am joking around with people and if you take me serious then you guys got problems and if you are not down with that, then I got 2 more words for ya...SUCK IT! looking at the south dearborn sectionals 113 weight class. I dont understand the philopshy in the matchup there. there are 10 schools with one forfeit giving everyone a first round bye...with the exception of the number 1 seed. how is the logic that he has earned the number 1 seed and "earned" the only match in the first round? typically not a real big deal as you would just throw the weakest wrestler to the wolves so to say and the top seed advances as he should but via a win. In this particular case, the kid being thrown to the wolves is a kid with a 5-4 record ONLY because he was ineligible for most the season. last year a beat this years current #12 ranked semi state kid twice and had a few other key wins. this year, he has taken a sectional winner the distance and almost tech falled another semi state ranked kid. he is no scrub by any means and if he can knock the rust off real quick, there might just be a huge upset when #1 is sent home packing at sectionals in first round while 7 others get to advance via byes and forfeit. something is flawed.

i dont believe they wreslted this year. handley has been 145 all year that I have seen. i know wyatt did not lose at conference last week or at the centerville invitation. i know he started the season undefeated thru the first week or two. thinking maybe someone from south adams might have but union city doestn seem to post results often at all.
