  2. Why do you ask hook, are you troubled by that? Maybe you should post something relevant to the subject, instead of worrying about how someone signs there post. Panther out!
  3. I would flip flop 3,4 5 and then I feel it's spot on. No outstanding studs, but my opinion is that Penn beats both CP and WC in close duals just based on their parity. Doesn't really matter, but those are my thoughts. Have to admit WC Looked very impressive in their victories over the weekend. Panther out!
  4. You mentioned that you haven't heard what happened to Kade, but mentioned you hope he has a speedy and healthy recovery??? Did you hear he was sick or injured??
  5. This should prove to be a great match, with a full house at the Cave this coming Thursday. This has become one of the premier duals in the state. So let the predictions begin. A very solid Penn squad that will be facing a Mishawaka team that is getting better, and better every match. Would like to hear what the experienced wrestling minds have to say about this one?? Panther out
  6. Well put. Penn performance was truly a team performance. I think they are the solid #2 or #3 team in the state. How do you see the Matchups shaking out for the 1/3 dual with the Cavemen? First glance I see Penn winnng 6 or 7 matches with a couple of swing weights. Bonus points will be big. I see Mishawaka taking 106, 132, 138 and 145 for sure. Your thoughts?
  7. I understand, your like a proud surrogate father Happy New Year, enjoy your weekend.
  8. You are such a Homer Shane, But you do make valid points that cannot be denied!
  9. Both Hartman Boys, in finals plus Shakir Carr Nice Job SB Clay!!
  10. Wow, looks like Penn took it on the chin this morning. 1 kid in the finals, is a bit a surprise! Mishawaka however just the opposite, I believe 4 in the finals, wow!
  11. It is ultimately the AD's call on weather conditions and travel. I recall a couple of years back, Penn opted out of the Bellmont Tourney due to weather, but Mishawaka went.
  12. Knowing nothing about this, but hearing various stories of the Flu running rampant among several programs lately, that might be the case? I know several NIC teams have been dealing with this, and a 2 elementary school have been shut down in the last 2 weeks because of epidemic type flu
  13. Oops, your right NIC, sorry, too much in a hurry with some post in and out the door with the Holiday shopping
  14. I agree on Sliga. My post was referring to PM Locks
  15. I believe the individual State is going to be a VERY Balanced tourney, and as Dominant as a team that PM is, and very deserving. Honestly, I only see them Possibly winning 2 individuals, with a big if on 126. I think LeCount is there most dominant wrestler in his weight class. Although is seeding and everything falls just right, I could also see them with 4 individual champs. There are a great deal of very good young men from all over the state in each respective weight class. If I had to pick my weight lock it's 113 nobody will touch Micic. Panther out
  16. Just my personal opinion, but after watching the matches today. It is clear to me that PM is hands down the best team in the state, and Penn is #2 There were many closely contested matches in that dual 285, 106, 120 just to name a few that could have went either way. Both Coaches did a great job! Panther out. Franklin, S. Adams and Yorktown get some major Cudo's as well
  17. Good lord! If all this is somehow in reference to the Penn JV at the Merrillville Tournament. I believe SB Clay coach Hartman was quoted on this site as saying that the Host (Merrillville) and his Clay team new Penn was sending a JV Squad Months before the actual tournament. So I don't believe this was any surprise to anyone
  18. Did Zach Davis Lose to the Kid from Warsaw (Munoz)?
  19. Well put Al! Those of us who know you, know you have your boys/programs best interest at heart. Many of these post at times take on a soap opera type drama, people who think they are "In the Know" trying to stir things up! When they don't have a clue about what is really going on, Although I have to admit It makes for some pretty hilarious reading late at night! Like watching a train-wreck, just can't stop! ;D
  20. Just to clarify, Penns True Varsity was at the Charger Invitational. A tournament they have participated in for years. From what I understand, when Yorktown pulled out of the Merrillville tournament because of the pending team state, an invitation was offered to Penn. And they decided to send their V2. I know M'ville would have loved for Penn to bring their V1, but that would not have been fair to Elkhart Memorial and the teams expecting Penn's best! Regarding SB Clay's decision, I can see that as well. If you are going to wrestle a team in your conference potentially 4 times in a season, what is the point, Clay was at the tournament before Penn was invited, and I am sure it is a strategic choice by their coach, and I respect Al Hartman's decision, This coach is a class act, and I am sure his reason are valid, and in the best interest of THEIR program. Panther out. ;D
  21. Cavemen Destroyed Lakeshore, MI last evening. Portage is VERY tough this yet, but I believe the Mishawaka boys will take care of business.
  22. Mishawaka was also in the 4A state football finals as well Against Cathedral, so same issue with their team not at full strength until recently..
