  5. Christian is coach Fabian's son. Xavier is not related.
  6. We went through BSN for Under Armour jackets and UA knit pants.
  7. IMO This is something that has always sounded much better in theory. I do not believe in telling kid's they can't manage their weight how'd they'd like; but it is also our job as coaches to make sure it is done in a healthy and proper way.
  8. Well have pass the ideas along to our other holiday tournaments and see how it works outs. With 700+ wrestlers/coaches/workers (excluding any fans), it is quite difficult. Bottom line is, we wanted to do things the right way without jeopardizing our athletes, personnel, or other teams across the state; especially if team state does happen that same weekend. We had a great proposal to the St Joseph County Health Dept., but it was declined... Now we have to live with that and move our focus to our next large event, Sectionals.
  9. Wouldn't be able to schedule it outside of Christmas break.
  10. Emails went out today confirming the cancellation of this years Al Smith. The St. Joseph County Health Department will not allow an event of this size. https://cavemensports.com/2020/10/28/covid-concerns-take-down-al-smith-wrestling-invitational/
  11. I agree, I think it would be smart to have different locations for each class if we are going to be able to pull it off.
  12. I know there are a lot of people wondering what is happening with tournaments and holiday tournaments around the state. I just got a call from our AD who spoke with our superintendent and head of HR; they do not see the St. Joseph County Health Dept. approving such an event with where case numbers currently are in our area. That is the position we are in, but I will provide updates.
  13. 5:30PM tomorrow night! Come join the action at Mishawaka and make the most of this off-season!
