  1. Sorry, referring to Collett of JC. I apologize for the misunderstanding.
  2. Correct me if im wrong...didnt he get 3rd? and if your answer is yes, well then someone else mustve had an easier draw right? I understand that you can get a good draw, I just dislike the lack of RESPECT.
  3. How are you gonna be mad that a good wrestler wrestled his way to state? I wasnt there but from what ive heard the ref made the right call. If he wouldnt have been "fleeing" he prolly wouldve gotten taken down anyway from what i understand so he woulda made it anyway right?
  4. I think the best match of the day(assuming the wrestle each other), is going to be Richey vs Welch. Both are great wrestlers and i wish i could be there to see it.
  5. I know its a completely different situation but IU got to wrestle there a few years back when they hosted the big ten championships...i was there. And with all the bragging of youre doing about your fans being the most and going anywhere, you would think you could get them all there to make it worth it for IU And I think Roberts Stadium is a great place to wrestle, i didnt like eville whatsoever. Hated the drive, loved wrestling there, hated the biased eville crowd, and as far as eating establishments...well i didnt get to do that much back then so im neither here nor there on that topic. Just my opinion.
  6. 103-Hall Shepherd Shroeder Vanhook 112-Boomsma Smith Keif Kuhn 119-RESCH Miller Moody Reiker 125-Brown Chambers Raley Reiker 130-Martin Brawner Schofield Miracle 135-Barlow Rueger Weekly RASSBACH 140-bealmeer Salyers Montgomery Milton 145-Moberly Sims Waddell Welch 152-Welch PARRISH RICHEY Mappes 160-Weikel Reese Kolb Oser 171-Brandt Weiss Boots Browner 189-Eads Brownfield BASS Rosebrock 215-Froehlich Vandeventer Wooding COLLETT 285-CAUM VanDeman Daugherty Jenkins No particular order and no real reason for the bold other than some of my favorites. Not saying they will win but I would love it if they did.
  7. Yeah Ive always been a baseball player. This will be my third year starting shortstop here if all goes well. Lookin forward to it but still always lookin back to wrestling and wishing I could do both. I still have a strong urge to get out on the mats. Hey now, I'm about 175-180 but still solid. I couldnt gain weight fast enough its taken me a couple years now to get to where im at with lifting and eating right. Its not easy! Its easier to lose weight than gain it and stay fit.
  8. I dont know much about the lower weights so im just gonna pick a few here and a few there 112- I think Reiker is a possibility. I havent watched Boomsma wrestle but i saw Reiker in Sectional and he looked tough. 119-If Resch comes to wrestle he can beat anyone at this tournament. But I have to go with Reiker 135-Barlow 152-No doubt Richey 189-Bass has been in every match hes wrestled with eads and brownfield so hopefully he can pull one out
  9. Hey coach, I havent been up to much. Goin to school at Marian in Indianapolis and playing baseball.
  10. I believe all of this is getting out of hand. I dont personally know the scottsburg wrestler but IF in fact he did bite, its clear the right call was made. I dont believe that any wrestler gets a crossface and just thinks to himself that he is going to bite the other persons hand, but, there were definitely bite marks and bleeding. As far as I am concerned it should have just been cleaned up and the match finished. And for those saying Baldwin threw aggressive elbows..a normal sit out or someone on bottom attempting to stand up or sit out can look like thrown elbows from a spectators view and from knowing him personally and wrestling with him I find it hard to believe he would throw elbows on purpose. Having wrestled in the JC program, I have experienced Coach punishing wrestlers with hundreds of push ups and sit ups for actions far less serious than this so if something was unsportsmanlike, he would have been the first to be punished. So, in my opinion (which means nothing) I truly do believe that actions should be taken to somehow get him back in the tournament because everyone wants the best wrestlers in the tournament and he has proved this season that he is legit and deserves a spot in the tournament. Also, I agree from my experiences Coach Skinner is a good coach and ANY coach would stand up for his wrestler, especially under the circumstances. To the Baldwin running out of the circle, I didnt see this happen but its the same as a wrestler getting a bloody nose and running out of the circle to avoid getting blood on the mat and to get it cleaned up. The match was stopped for the purpose of blood and the biting so I dont believe that rule is in effect under the circumstances. To everyone, Good luck in the tournament. Im sure we will all be there watching.
