Annalyse from West Vigo won the prestigious McMillan award today in Terre Haute given to the best female athlete in the county. She was a 3 sport athlete and won 12 varsity letters in high school and also was 4 time state place winner in girls tournament. Annalyse has paved the way for girls wrestling in our area. She is headed to Indiana Tech this fall.

The National Wrestling Coaches Association is proud to partner with the United States Marine Corps to recognize achievement in academics (Scholar All-Americans) and leadership & character. We had a good number of Indiana wrestlers who were named Leadership & Character All-Americans this year. Next year I hope we can greatly increase the number of Scholar and Leadership & Character All-Americans from Indiana. I encourage you to make this Leadership & Character award a special recognition for those truly outstanding members of your team. Hall of Famer Chuck Streetman has passed away. Chuck was a great ref for many many years!
