some international entries showed up at the farrell...

moldova is bringing several... ciobanu at 67kg...

tynar sharshenbekov at 72kg... that seems crazy to me...

87-97-130 have some decent flavor... Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Georgia,     Uzbekistan, Peru...

That's actually better competition than I would have thought. Tynar doesn't look that much bigger than his brother so I don't understand this huge jump. I'd get it if he was like 69-70 and just doesn't want to cut any weight but then why wrestle at 63 and not 67 which is an Olympic weight?

my guess is that sharshenbeko did not want to be in the same weight as ciobanu, but, that is pure speculation...

i had heard moldova was bringing a full squad and then was going to alaska to do a dual, but, the funding fell through... i am at pumped some of them are going to be in NY... will make this tourney much more interesting...

I see there are some league activities on today. @Amir.Solif you could be so kind to give a full update as to what happens if you have time it would be appreciated.

I seen Yazdani beat Akbari.

kamran beat Ebrahimi 2 1

and goleij lost to Mohammadian again.

Also controversy as Bank Shahr claim Amouzad has taken half of his money but didn't come to compete. Claims from one of the Bank Shahr team that someone told him "behind the scenes" not to come.

I'm not sure but I think Bank Shahr won 6-4. And unfortunately we never got the Kamran vs Hassan match we wanted.

Nice to Amir Mohammad bear MYJ 8-0 though.

Who did Nokhodi lose to?

I think it might have been Savadkouhi 5-5 but I’m not sure as I missed the part where they announced them and I was watching through Instagram.

3rd place match goes unsurprisingly to Gaemshahr but a few surprising results. Also the wrestler who's name I wasn't sure about previously is Abdulmazhid Kudiev.

61 kg: Mohammad Khodabakhshi 4 - 4 Reza Atri

I think that's 3 losses in a row now for Nokhodi?

Some notes based on these results.

Azapira losing is disappointing.

Didn't know sidakov was competing. But just seen he lost to Savadkouhi! Big win for Savadkouki. Even if it is off season.

Nokhodi I must assume is not 100% fit, losing 3 times in the league is very uncharacteristic.

Savadkouhi beat Sidakov? I thought he faced Nokhodi again and I was confused as to why that was happening.

61kg: Majid Dastan 0 - 11 Abasgadzhi Magomedov

65kg: Morteza Ghiasi 3 - 2 Mohammad Ramezanpour

70kg: Magomedrasul Gazimagomedov 11 - 0 Mehdi Yeganeh Jafari

74kg: Younes Emami 8 - 2 Jamal Ebadi

79kg: Zaur Sidakov 2 - 2 Ali Savadkouhi

86kg: Alireza Karimi 4 - 7 Hassan Yazdani

92kg Amirhossein Firouzpour 7 - 3 Mohammad Javad Ebrahimi

97kg: Amirali Azarpira 1 - 2 Mohammad Hossein Mohammadian

125kg: Amirhossein Zare 2 - 1 Amin Taheri

Have to just add that AH Firouzpour has to be out best performaning wrestler of the year, across both styles. Just looks fantastic in every match he wrestles. I want to see him face Mohammadian soon.

Wow. How pissed will Bank Shahr now be even more so that Amouzad pulled out. You would have to think if he was there they would be champions. I wonder what happened.

Big win for Savadkouhi, Mohammadian is still Iran's no1 at 97kg it seems, closer than it should have been for Hassan too.

Yeah I'm not sure what happened with Amouzad, didn't wrestle a single match. Was hoping you would have some inside info maybe lol. Surely he's not getting paid at all then. Didn't this happen to Hassan last year?

This is very different to the Hassan situation where he was present but sat out the final due to injury. A lot more upfront. I don't know if he still got paid.

I haven't had time to speak to anyone really. All I hear is Bank Shahr says Amouzad got half his money upfront and no showed the final, they claim it is due to "someone behind the scenes" telling Rahman to do so. A bit of a mess. Last year Kamran stated he was injured and didn't wrestle for Reza Yazdani's team and Reza disputed the veracity of the injury. Apparently Kamran got paid then. They were upset then, but this time even more so. Last year Reza won, this seems a lot worse because they lost 5-5 and it could have been very likely Rahman wrestling at 65 would have been enough to clinch the title. Also Bank Shahr are saying he just no showed. It's all crazy to me. But again I don't know the truth and the ins and outs, or the other side of the story. But just a very bad look all round really.
