People have no idea how hard it is to make it to State!

I just want to be the first to say.  If you or your son punched his ticket yesterday.

Make sure you take time to celebrate it.  Those of you who have not had the

opportunity to compete in this sport.  Have no idea how hard this is.

Semi-State is a grind to say the least.  The physical and emotional toll

is unlike anything most of us can imagine.  Take the time today to celebrate.

You may only be able to do this once. Monday starts the path to state.

Agree with Jchas.  What I witnessed at the NC SS I attended yesterday was beyond a grind.  It was war between young people leaving 8000% on the mat.  Making it through seems to me a great lifetime achievement very worthy of celebration.  Also, I think the kids that didn't make it through should celebrate their hard work, the lessons they learned, their skill, and their courage.  For example, I've admired the wrestling and spirit of kids like Belden, Sparks, Connor James, and many others.  Yesterday, I was inspired to see so many highly worthy young men perform so admirably, win or lose.
