Tryouts / wrestle offs for the ISWA Elementary National Team(s) are to be held at Indian Creek Middle School (801 S Indian Creek Dr, Trafalgar, IN). On Sunday 2/24/2012 (see below schedule for tryout times and guidelines for each weight class).

Tryouts- Wrestle offs are open to all serious ISWA members who are 13 or younger on 4/12/2013 and in the 6th grade or below (must meet both criteria). All must be willing to make the trip to the Heartland Duals in Nebraska (see below for trip info). Please do not come just to get good matches and not plan on going on the team. 1st and 2nd place finishers at each weight class will be awarded a spot on the team(s). A $100 deposit will be collected for each team member on the day of the wrestle offs to ensure a commitment to the team. It will cost each wrestler $10.00 to wrestle off for the team. This money will be collected at weigh-ins.

Great turnout today! Both teams will be very solid. We have kids from Crown Point to Paoli and everywhere in between. Line ups will be released soon. Thank you to all that attended.

WE HAD NO 160 POUNDERS TODAY! WE NEED TWO SOLID WRESTLERS (6TH GRADE OR UNDER).

If interested call Matt Brewer @317-201-0644.

Just suring up spots and trying to fill our 160 spots. All wrestlers and families know that they have made the teams. Everyone else will know soon. We have kids from all 5 ISWA regions. It will truley be a statewide effort.

By the way, all we need is a couple of studs at 160 and we should make some noise! The prior weight class is 140. So if you have a stud 6th grader, that is from 140 to 160. Please let them know about the trip and / or have them call me.
