MCKAJC Posted October 30, 2012 Share Posted October 30, 2012 Can 5th grade wrestle in middle school state? No, 5th graders can't compete at MS State. Rules are kind of odd. A middle school wrestler can only compete 1 year as an 8th grader. But you can stay back in 6th or 7th grade and compete 4 years at MS State. IMO you should get 3 years of eligibility at MS State.
