xam148
I was at the FW Semi-State this weekend and heard an announcement that people are only allowed to tape their own wrestler. If this is a rule and not a suggestion how can we have live video feeds of wrestling events?
grappleapple
Organizations purchase a contract through the IHSAA to do a live feed.
base
With every cellphone these days being able to record videos, this rule is laughable. There is no way possible they can police this in the large arenas used for semistate
xam148
So this is just another unenforceable rule that the IHSAA has for wrestling?
D1
I have followed high school wrestling in several states over the years and still do...Of the "wrestling" states, of which I consider Indiana to be one, the least amount of public video of high school matches that can be accessed seems to be Indiana...There are wrestling websites in most of these states that show a large amount of state and dual meet regular season video on the net...This promotes the sport as well as the kids who aspire to wrestle at next level who definitely need the exposure to college coaches who will never see them otherwise...Not to mention it would be nice for the kids and families of all wrestlers in Indiana...IndianaMat.com is such an awesome site I am a surprised they have not gone to taped video coverages of high school wrestling events...
