  1. Just thought you might have Reitz a little higher but the teams in front of them are very respectful. Reitz and Roncalli had the same number of champions and placers at Connersville and they were only seperated by a few points, yet Reitz is 8 places below Roncalli. I still think you do a great job even with no love for the south!
  2. Kelley from Central wrestled at 130 against Schnarr and lost in a close match. His skill level is very high and good cardio as well. Only thing that will hold him back a little is the fact that he is a freshman. However given his skill set he could do very good up to semi-state maybe beyond but thats a long ways off.
  3. I just spoke with Mr Buckler about the coming meet and he told me I was wrong about a few of the matches ( no need to say which ones). And I had to disagree with him about it but, there is no disrespect to any wrestlers or team! After the 13th I'll be a fan of MD unless they go against a Reitz wrestler on the way to state. I would like to wish both teams good luck and hope everyone stays healthy for a run at state. Mr buckler I look forward to meeting you face to face and shaking your hand no matter the out come!
  4. Good luck Rankingsguy you've got you hands full this week! No matter what I think you do a great job and look forward to seeing the new rankings!
  5. It's not going to be a blow out! It will be a very close score coming down to bonus points. Reitz 103 beat Blackwell 10-0 and MD's 103 was beaten by Blackwell 6-1. If your jv wrestler has to go again Kuhn will put bonus points on the board with at least a major but a pin wouldn't suprise me. I don't think he would pin Vibbert but would still win. Johns at 112 is very good and you shouldn't look past him after his 4th place finsh at connersville. I also will give the edge to Moody at 125. Senior or not Henderson gets beat. Rueger pins, plain and simple! I'll give you 152, 160, 189 and heavy. 171 will be a good match as will 130 and 145. I think both teams will be in the high 20's low 30's with a 4 point edge to the winner.
  6. Maybe cats got his tongue........along with everything else!
  7. Reitz advances all 14 to second day with 7 chances for the big prize!
  8. Evansville Reitz Damon Kuhn @ 103 18-0 Trevor Moody @ 125 18-0 Derek Dowdy @ 135 17-0 Blake Reuger @ 140 18-0
  9. Damon Kuhn @ 103 Trevor Moody @ 125 Derek Dowdy @ 135 Blake Reuger @ 140 All are 15-0
  10. I know two wrestlers were at the beast of the east but where were the others at?
  11. Trevor Appel (junior) from Reitz beat Chamberlain from Central at 145. He was 5-0 at the Hill Classic. Also Aaron King was 5-0 and beat Tucker from Jasper at 171. Kuhn (103), Johns (112), Vanhook (119), Moody (125), Dowdy (135) and Reuger (140) were also undefeated.
  12. Appel was 145 not 152! I haven't been to Bed since this time yesterday. Wish I were rich so I wouldn't have to work crazy hours!!!!!!
  13. Trevor Appel was 5-0 at 152. Only loss below 160 was Mitchell Schnarr at 130 with one loss. Aaron King looked really good at 171 beating Tucker from Jasper and finishing 5-0. Heavy wrestlers still in football shape but still looked better than this time last year.
  14. What a bone head I ment admission!
  15. I would love to see the Ervin/Welch match it should be worth the price of emission alone!
  16. Final round Reitz 46 Charlestown 27 Central 65 Bosse 6 Jasper 50 Terre Haute North 15 Reitz had 8 undefeated wrestlers
  17. Round 4 Reitz 41 Jasper 22 Central 45 Charlestown 36 Terre Haute North 60 Bosse 19
  18. Round 3 Reitz 54 Terre Haute North 12 Jasper 34 Central 33 Charlestown 75 Bosse 6
  19. Great battle between Centrals Chamberlain and Reitz Appel with Appel winning in the 3rd OT. Also jaspers heavy weight was a JV kid not Schnell. Sorry my bad!
  20. Rd 2 Reitz 53 Central 21 Jasper 78 Bosse 3 Terre Haute North 54 Charlestown 26
  21. Central 52 Terre Haute North 24 Jasper 63 Charlestown 13
  22. Charleston hvy John Slater pins Jasper hvy Schnell
  23. I heard from a pretty good source that Vibbert from MD will be 112 if he can win the spot. He can't cut enough weight to get down to 103, he was over 120 a few weeks ago because of a growth spurt!
