  1. wow this topic blew up. wellll i guess i should start responding to people. heres the deal.. i can't make 103. i challenged at 112 and lost 2 very close matches (im not done challenging either) its been tough not being able to compete all season but i'll be back. i think not being able to wrestle is making me a stronger person. i'm so ready to get out there and wrestle. once i finally can i think the time off will have helped me. i'm still working hard in the training room and preparing for whenever my next match may be. i love high school wrestling and everything its taught me but im not going to lie there is always a part of my mind that is thinking of the future. getting bigger is something i'm planning on doing. there are only 4 weight classes for the olympics and unfortunately i fall right in the middle of two of them. so in my mind getting big is the way to go. my ultimate goal is to become an olympic gold medalist and quite honestly i dont think cutting to 103 is going to get me there. thank you to everyone who is supporting me and hopefully you'll see me on the mat soon. happy holidays!! sarah (:
  2. this is so incredibly sad. :'( wise family, i know me and so many others are praying for you. stay strong!! -Sarah Hildebrandt and the rest of the Penn wrestling team
  3. thank you! the wrestling part was so amazing. it was really cool to get to represent the usa! the country itself was pretty poor. its tough to imagine that people actually live like that... it made me feel extremely fortunate! still getting to experience the different culture was very neat! (:
  4. thank you so much! its was an amazing experience!
  5. great rtc! i always learn something new and there is a bunch of great wrestlers there too (: sounds like its gonna be a really good technique session also!!
  6. thanks everyone for all of the support! it really means a lot to me. WNDU did a great job and i thank them for all the coverage they have done with high school wrestling this year! thanks again.
  7. good job today! it was a great match! good luck to you with post season and next season! hope to see you guys at state as well!
  8. i think that when you step on a mat then you wrestle. it doesnt matter if a male is afraid to touch a female a certain way or if its the other way around. if thats the case then they shouldnt wrestle. a wrestler should have the drive and competition to want to beat anyone who steps on the mat. boy or girls whatever they are both wrestlers.
