Howe is the Greatest Indiana Wrestler Ever. None of the 4time state champs wrestled an NCAA AA their freshman year and he was a senior. Let alone maybe a NCAA Champion depending on the finals. Alex's college career has been a disappointment. I'm not putting the kid down at all, but I bet even if you ask him he would say his collgeg career was actually a huge disappointment. Angel is the best right now because he has a NCAA title, but what Howe is doing as a true frosh at 165 is unbelieveble.

John you have to have a job to make donations. You have ran plenty of talent that choose to go wrestle for Scecina right into the ground. Throwing the towel in on a 17 year old who had done nothing but bust his ass for you. That shows lots of class. Maybe you did borrow some money from your pops to donate. I read the original post and a few others but not all the pages. The schooling is the most important part. Lets be real though there is not that much difference between Manual and Perry. I remember being at a freestyle tournament during the summer of 06(im pretty sure) and coming out to my car was a flyer for new school board president for Perry. Had a bunch of stats on it one being that 58% of their senior class did not graduate. It also sounds like you straight admitted to moving into Perry township for athletic reason which is illegal.

Fabio like Mishawaka has a lot of room to talk with all the Penn wrestlers they have on their team. You are a true disgrace to the Mishawaka people that I know and like. John Maio has only lived a live of disgrace and failures. Never ammounting to anything in his career at Cathedral but let downs. Never being able to coach a single wrestler past the regional. Fabio you are right and wrong in your post. One yes Cathedral really isn't doing anything wrong but everyone loves to hate on them. Two you are confusing hate with jealousy. Three Cathedral was the Fighting Irish before Notre Dame was.

HAHAHAHA Swain are you serious? You are going to compare Eppert not working for any type of move on top except to ride a claw ride and legs with a guy being able to dislocate his shoulder out? The thing is you would expect Schafer to pin him but he didn't he lost to him and then beat him. I guess if you get your way he would prolly pin him one of those 1000 times. How would Schafer pin him considering they are 1-1? I think a dec is the most at 215. Just based on facts at. Yes it would be a different match had he not tried to throw so many headlocks. However, Stokes has pinned him and beat the CP HWT who also pinned him.

Perry would not have beat Cathedral. The Irish lineup had already changed when they wrestled in their dual meet. Cathedral beat Mishawaka because of the different lineup the Cavemen hadn't seen yet. Don't care if its seeded or not. Cathedral was the 2nd best team in the state. They match up well with Perry. Better then CP did. The top 3 teams were CP, CHS, and MHS all could beat eachother. Castle and Perry round out the top 5 and they could hang with those 3 and pull off and upset forsure if they win a couple of swing matches. There was not a wrestling fan in the state that didn't know whoever came from that side of the bracket was going to win team state. I know there are Perry and Castle fans who thought they could win, but thats why I said wrestling fans.

EMD from 03' and LN from 05' battling for the top spot. Idk about CP being top 5, but they could be. Just shows how tough MHS and CHS were since either of them could have very easily ended up the team state champs. Has there ever been a year with 3 teams as good as those 3? You had the defending undefeated team state champs. The Irish who beat them. The 09' team state champs who went down to the last match with CHS in the semis'. Everyone knew whoever came out of that side was winning the team state title.

I know summer wrestling helps you win during the winter. My point is just becuase so and so beat this or that guy during a summer match doesn't mean he will during the high school. Point being Wright is National Champ during the summer, but can't win the state title.

I'm pretty sure Brooks pinned him but we all know summer and free style matches are not a good way to tell who is better. Tsirtis over Wright at Calumet though. Deciding point was a poking the eye call that resulted in a penalty point for Tsirtis.

I wasn't talking about the age difference. I was saying that as freshman Wright was better. As sophomores Wright was better. As juniors Wright is better. Now as seniors since Eppert went out on top Wright will have to win state also to prove that as seniors Wright is better to.

Wright as a freshman was better then Eppert as a frosh. Both earn state titles as sophomore's, however Wright's title was against a junior Eppert. No doubt Wright as a junior would have smoked Eppert as a junior. With 6 or 7 straight wins over Eppert I don't think there is any doubt Wright is better. Eppert is an amazing wrestler with 2 state titles and a runner up. Wright will have 2 state titles and 2 runner ups.
