Just like the High School state finals 2 weeks ago, this upcoming weekend is going to be fun to watch! Potential upsets and alot of new champions!!! Can't wait to see how everyone does and how all the weight class's pan out......I know I'm going to have myself some sleepless nights this week! Reguardless......All these Kids are CHAMPIONS and Good Luck to EVERYONE!!!!

Interesting question Mr. Watson.....Last year the wrestling participants were available to view before the wrestling list was released. We'll just have to wait and see.........

By far, the best Indy Nationals tournament to date! Butler was AWESOME, and the competition was supperb! Great Job Mark and Everyone that made it go so perfect!

Franklin Community's Daniel Mercer Folkstyle Challenge - 1/24/10

At the beginning of the ISWA season, somebody posted the question, "which tournaments this year are people hitting" (or something to that effect)....I said that Franklin was a "for sure" tournament for us because we were pleased last year......Well, we'll be back in April for the Grizzly Iron-Man & next year too!!! To EVERYONE that helped out this past weekend, GREAT JOB! What I would like to see, is for "most" of the other clubs hosting tournaments to "take notes". It started ON TIME, and we were out of there by 2! However, there is one thing I'd like to see different next time.......BUILD ON!!! LOL......Boy was it crowded!! See ya in April!! -
ISWA gave an inch last year to do satelite weigh-ins and now look what happened. You wanna say it takes an hour to pair and get the tournament started, so be it. That's part of the game. I've been involved in this for a long time dating back to when it was AAU Freestyle only, and it wasn't an issue then. Look at the technology we have today! If the next excuse is that they're short staffed, then they shouldn't be bidding to run tournaments.

We drove there last year and it was cancelled, parking lot was full of people that had no idea about it! Teams from all over the state were there...... I guess you just look on here.

All these ISWA tournaments this year that are "satellite weigh-ins ONLY" are going to STINK!! Which is about every tournament this year! Like for instance this weekend......Say New Palestine happens to cancel their tournament due to the weather, but Martinsville still has theirs, all the kids that were going to New Pal are out of luck on Sunday because they didn't fax to Martinsville...... Or do we need to just fax or e-mail all wrestlers to every tournament just to play it safe? Then on Sunday morning when they have a couple hundred registered wrestlers not show up to Martinsville because they're @ New Pal. (or) vice versa some people are NOT going to be happy.....then getting the tournaments started is just going to prolong it even longer. Then the tournament info say's 9:00 (sharp) start time on MOST tournaments, we'll see! With no weigh-ins, 9:00 should be the LATEST to start a tournament........It's going to be an interesting season! ???

I agree...looking back at his past post history, he's one negative guy. Not a good thing to say on here, but like he say's...."freedom of speech" ........ It's just sad that he's slamming our youth and what we're trying to build here in Indiana. I can only imagine that his wrestling credentials are absolutely STUNNING......PERFECT......MAGNIFICENT.......THROUGH THE ROOF.......Not to mention by his Fargo posts, he must be a "Fashion Designer".......I mean, we don't wrestle nor dress to his caliber!! -
Of course, outside of our LC (Red Cobra) tournaments......Franklin gets a HUGE bravo on there tournaments last year! Although I am still waiting on my brackets Mr. VanHorn!!!...LOL
