Macke was nearly tech falled when they wrestled before that iirc..that shows how great he was at making adjustments..His match with Jason levell in the qtrs was a doozy as well...

3 of his 4 finals matches were instant classics..Hobbs,Newport and Dolly (one of the best to never win it) and him surviving vs Brownlee in the semis was EPIC

Brendan Campbell,Conner Mullins,Macke, and Alex Dolly are all up there..William Campbell as well

He was a a very good technical wrestler from all places..You wouldn't look at him and see a physical specimen but on the mat he was funky and could scramble very well...Always rocked the MD tights too lol...was top notch all 4 yrs and imho one of the best to never win it all...

Iirc th e 03' finals Angel vs Jaggers was 58-0 vs 56-0..I think that's a record for most combined wins with no losses going into the finals

I always heard David Palmer was a BAD DUDE so he definitely has to rep the best old school that would still be considered one the G.O.A.T today...I wish we had highlight tapes of these guys I would love see legends I didn't get to see in person..nostalgia

Few yrs bk Nc SS alone had Campbell,Todd,McKinnley and Harvey top 4 3 state champs and 2x runner up isn't too shabby

Some real good wrestling today..seem some SS rematches too... @170 Carson handles 2 SSQ to get bk to wrestle for 3rd vs Lucero after the heart breaker yesterday

Classy post...I could watch Carson vs allred every weekend lol...He will be on a mission tomorrow to get bk to true 2nd...Silas pressure and low level attacksingles were superb and the funky scrambles were good stuff..it had a lot of action for a match that was 1-1 in the last minute..hopefully these 2 meet@ bankers life next yr for another slug fest

Was a War..was 1-1 with 30 seconds left silas got in deep on a sweet shot by the boudry, went out the bk triz tried going funk and was caught on his back with Silas getting the 6-1 win as time ran out..Silas is one hell of a wrestler and class act..I look forward to watching these 2 grow and become champions..Good win For a ever growing stud and shenandoah Squad..Triz will keep his head up and get better
