  1. Russia takes their Bronze match to stay in the title picture. US needs a win from Green or Snyder and I believe that clinches the team title. Greens next up for the US.
  2. Weight Finals in a scrambled order Burroughs strikes 1st for America to win a World Title over the Russian. Great back and forth TD battle but JB turned it on in the final min and a half getting two takedowns.
  3. Day 1 Gilman surprise run to Silver. Cox and Gwiz take Bronze Day 2 US and Russia in a tight race for the team title. Two head to head Finals a big factor in team race. Burroughs vs the Russian Tsabolov Snyder vs the P4P #1 the Russian Sadulaev. James Green also makes the finals. Russia has someone in a Bronze match too. Going to likely come down to the wire.
  4. If Floyd fights his type of fight he will pepper McGregor until his body fail with counter punches. If Floyd tried to fight an aggressive take it to him fight then McGregor gets a few decent punches in the early round but by the middle round Floyd resorts back to his old way ends up winning without much trouble. Either way Floyd take this one easy. Only shot McGregor has is Mayweather completely loses his mind and acts flashy too many times with his head in KO range.
  5. http://www.purduesports.com/sports/m-wrestl/spec-rel/082517aaa.html Good late pick up for them after losing Maples.
  6. Ali Ragan gets silver. Women finish tied for 2nd place as a team.
  7. Men's Freestyle starts on Friday. We have a legit shot at a top team placement if the team performs as projected.
  8. Up two weight classes. 5 straight tech-falls. Not scored on. 53-0 total score Slick series of moves to win the title. (Highlights on link below) https://mobile.twitter.com/trackwrestling/status/900422198443356161/video/1 Becka Leathers takes a Bronze. Solid start for the women's team.
  9. I know both Mich and V. Tech have done alot to show him how interested they are in him. But, you never how how things will pan out.
  10. And us down to 5 schools: Mich. V. Tech Nebraska Northwestern NC State http://www.flowrestling.org/article/60205-mason-parris-is-wrestling-in-college#.WY2TmEEpCEc
  11. Big win for a young Steveson and huge victory for Team USA. We have been knocking on the door the last few years of Juniors and it finally came together despite a few of our big name Juniors not on the team due to injury. New USA Wrestling oppertunities have now allowed our top youth talent to contend internationally which will just help to keep the Senior team in contention for a World Championship podium finish.
  12. Manzona Bryant of Culver Military get some recognition at #38. The Sophomore list is basically Flo's suggestion of wrestlers to look out for over the next few years.
  13. Split decision victory for Brooks on the undercard of UFC 214. Close fight with several people feeling Shelton did enough to win. Brooks improves his record and moves up the UFC rankings.
  14. 152 match will feature Fargo Champ #1 ranked Will Lewan of IL vs. #2 ranked at 145 Brayton Lee. http://www.flowrestling.org/article/59554-who-s-1-announcement-il-vs-in-set-for-152#.WXwOh4UpCEc
  15. B. Lee back on Behind the Dirt with some Fargo technique. Twice in a years is pretty impressive, and he's been up twice in one month. http://www.flowrestling.org/video/1234099-brayton-lee-far-sideside-headlock#.WXk_6IUpCEc
  16. http://www.flowrestling.org/ranking/2916-fargo-fallout/2017-07-25/p4p Pound for Pound - #8 Parris Around his weight is only Michael Beard (195) and Gable Stevenson (HWT), so Parris would be considered one of the Top 3 college possible heavyweights in the nation. However, Shultz (220), Neville (HWT), and Hoffman (195) are listed just behind him 145 - #2 B. Lee. He is behind #1 A. Artalona of FL. They did not face each other in Fargo. This could be a Who's #1 matchup. 160 - #2 J. Lee He is behind #1 D. Carr of OH, who is also 11th on P4P List. Lee lost a close one to Carr in Fargo, but has a win over him recently too. A possible Who's #1 match to decide best 2 of 3 in recent series. 182 - #5 L. Davison. A great double All American showing in Fargo moves Davison into the Top 5 from a previous #13 ranking. 220 - #1 M. Parris. Neither Parris nor #2 C. Shultz of CO attended Fargo. They have split matches in the past. This would make for a big Who's #1 match but as with many upper weights football may prevent this from occurring. HWT - #15 E. Pokorney. A solid Fargo performance, capped off with a Cadet Greco title, keeps Pokorney relivant in the HWT rankings. A few IN studs very high in the ranking with some chance for a Who's #1 invitation. However, after that not much from the Hoosier state. Hopefully we have some more of our top kids enter the major Pre-Season events and get their name on the list. Unfortunately during the season most IN wrestlers will either stall in the rankings or drop due to lack of seeing other top national competition.
  17. Per Flo http://www.flowrestling.org/article/59368-brayton-lee-reveals-final-school-list#.WXa8tYUpCEc Oklahoma State Nebraska Minnesota Iowa State North Carolina State Virginia Tech
  18. Elkins win with a split decision. Decent amount of action both standing and on the ground. Elkins clear winner of round 1. Second round was debatable but two judges give it to Elkins. Bermudes gets the 3rd round. Elkins should be able to move into the Top 10 Rankings with the win.
  19. Davison finishes 7th.
  20. Fargo will conclude tomorrow with Davison wrestling for 7th place.
  21. Alara will finish her tournament as Junior Women's Freestyle Runner-Up
  22. He is listed at the top of the thread as "fighters who didn't wrestle." Yes very much a stud at lightweight in the early years of WEC. Unfortunately, he ended up suffering some tough loses just before the UFC started merging the WEC talent into their fold.
  23. Tristan Yunker has a few solid win in MMA, many of which with his "Tarantula" arm bar off a nasty headlock.
  24. Pokorney Cadet Greco National Champ
  25. Junior Greco L. Davison will AA. Placement not yet determined. The rest of the remaining Juniors were eliminated right before placement.
