Today was just Women's Cadet so the only other participant from IN was Brooke Bunch who did not place.

With 4 pins (all under 40 seconds with the finals in 25 sec.) Kayla becomes the 108 Women's Cadet National Champion. This is the first year they have had the Women's Cadet division as part of the Nationals at Fargo. She will also be participating in the Junior division.

In related news Wisconsin coach Barry Davis has mentioned that he feels he may be close to signing another Indiana recruit soon.

Paul's brother Daniel (Culver Military) is a varsity wrestler on the squad. Army also has Indiana native Brier Runyan (Martinsville) on the team. Patrick Smith (Seymour) leaves the squad after graduating from West Point this past spring. In recent years several other cadets have been past wrestlers from Indiana and some did participate on the Golden Knights squad.
