  1. Thank you for bringing this to light and the true meaning of duo. Wahoo to you.

    119

I'm with you on pullin for Brooks. I would like to see him at the top after comin close for three years. Not saying that he is more deserving than anyone else, everyone who reaches that level has worked hard to do so and deserves to be there.

    119

119 is stacked with three state champs and one runner-up. When the dust settles who will be at the top of the podium Saturday night at Conseco?
  4. That's a good duo Goldendome. At least Janikowski got some revenge at team state.
  5. That's a great turnaround Y2, good job.
  6. Congrats to Crown Point on takin conference. Now let's get down to Center Grove!
  7. Hammer and MD 92 thanks for the clarification. I figured they had met before but didn't know for sure. Wahoo to the both of you.
  8. If anyone can dethrone Cashe, it will be Tsirtsis!
  9. Although there are teams ranked nationally, how would you rank Indiana amongst the rest of the country? In my opinion, I have us in the top ten.
  10. Surface and Kelly from Michigan City.
  11. Hey McMurray, good job today. I am lookin forward to seeing you in the postseason and standing at the top of the podium at Conseco.
  12. Yeah RankingsGuy you have an argument, but Talamantes was already a champ not Radnovich. I don't see why a state champ would be duckin anybody. I would like to know if earlier in their careers they wrestled. If Radnovich wrestled 215 his junior year he would've lost. Anton was undefeated his junior and senior year.
  13. Anton Talamantes pinned three of his four opponents at state(189). What was also impressive was he won state his junior year at 215. Alot of weight to cut!
  14. Ontherise219, I am aware of that. I didn't mean in the same year, just the same school 98 and 99. You get a wahoo for knowing the lineup.
  15. Fernando Martinez from Highland. He didn't make it out of Sectionals as a freshman and Regionals as a sophomore. Then took state at 103 and 3rd at 112.
  16. I do feel that unless an injury (hopefully not) or a mass breakout of ringworm occurs Mishawaka will walk to state. Cathedral's tough performance on Wednesday's does add some intrigue to the possible rematch. I am looking forward to seeing both teams and CP (if they don't choke against Merrillville).
  17. I remember seeing Radnovich in 98 and he was a beast hands down. I remember hearing at that time that during the season he pinned everyone he faced except for an injury default and possibly one tech. I am not for certain, but someone else on site could correct me if i'm wrong.
  18. Wilkinson twins from Crown Point; Pace and Tabor from Merrillville; Tabor and Joseph, Moreno and Bradbury from Portage; Miller, Peterson, and Santos from LaPorte
  19. Chad Biddle not only beating, but pinning Cooper Samuels in 145 final 2006.
  20. Midget 5589 and 0341. That's a bold pick takin Tsirtsis over Quiroga. I like it. If anyone can dethrone Juggernaut, it is Tsirtsis, I also believe. That is worth a point.
  21. Schaefer from MD won state his freshman year and then lost the next two years to Vega. Won his senior year at 119.
  22. Rankings Guy- I agree with you on Keith and Tabor. But in the case of Joseph, he had a better career than Warner and should replace Warner not Escobedo. The 90's would consist of 1991-2000 and 2000's would be 01 on up. Therefore, Ramos and Shontube would also be on the 90's team.(Apologize for butchering Marcus's last name)
  23. Mercado from ECC beat Johnston from Hammond once for sure, maybe twice and only qualified for state and Johnston was runner-up.
  24. Merrillville. You've got the Region and Mishawaka, enough said.
  25. Some of the best matches at State and that I've seen have been on Friday night. Danny Williams and Justin Mora had a battle on the way to Williams second title. Williams broke his leg before Christmas, won his ticket round match and injury defaulted the semi and consolation. Could've easily been the final match.
