  1. thats about the only place they look good so far...... You are very right. It will get better as the classes move on(like at 189, 215 and heavyweight). The low three classes did very, very poor though.
  2. Will FW SS not win a match until 125? I know Marquis Williams won't take his, Kenney and Bevins should probably but I don't know about Filer, that will be a close one possibly.
  3. it would suck losing if you were a 4 seed too ;D Yeah that too but I am just saying to win semistate and come to Conseco only to lose on Friday night would really suck but hey you can't look past any matches. Especially at this point.
  4. Two 1 seeds have lost? Man that must really suck for them.
  5. Ok, so I hate to get way off subject but it isn't FW Leo. It is just Leo. They are like New Haven, and we don't want to claim either.
  6. Love affair? More like trying to get them respect since they go to a school that doesn't get any.
  7. Now it is 3-1 at the end of the 2nd 3-2 on another Allen escape.
  8. 1-0 Allen a little bit into the 2nd. Escape point. 3-1 Baker now with a little under a minute. Stall warning on Allen.
  9. M I am just saying that would figure the finals would be close. I try to get to the FW SS but they keep throwing me to like Merrillville. I want to at least watch the Allen-Baker match from home.
  10. That was ridiculous. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a first period pin in the finals at HWT.
  11. I heard Winchester's 189 is out of the FW SS. Muncie South Side's 189 will replace him.
  12. The Winchester kid at 189 has been replaced by the Muncie Southside 189 or at least that is what I was told earlier in the day. Anyway, I am stoked for Scott/Grider in the 2nd round. Hopefully Josh comes out on top.
  13. Yeah, well we will see! Hopefully it doesn't last all day!
  14. This is my first semistate which is why I didn't know the mats. I figured four but didn't know if they tried to squeeze six. It is an estimate I imagine thinking that there won't be a lot of quick pins like there would be in sectionals or possibly regionals.
  15. I assume you are talking about the Decatur Daily Democrat? Which would mean the Woodlan SS...and that is what I have heard as well. That is insane! What is taking so long? How many mats are they going 4-6?
  16. Larocque is out due to disciplinary reasons and thats what we will leave it at. Alright, wow thanks though. I heard other stupid things that weren't even close to that but thanks for the clarification.
  17. After seeing the kids that didn't make it, does anybody know what happened with Larocque of Whitko or whatever his name is? I heard a few stories on Saturday but does anybody know the true reason?
  18. The Coliseum is by far the biggest venue. It would be interesting to see capacity percentages though(attandance/capacity).
  19. It was a good article. I see about three or four matchups I am really anxious to watch. What is there to know about Darryn Scott of Marion?
  20. Um...he is at 125 this year. He will likely take that. If he makes it(hopefully!) Josh Grider vs. Darryn Scott of Marion. Also, hopefully in the finals Baker v. Allen at 215 which is probably the one everybody is looking forward to. Has he wrestled any competition this year? What did Allen do last year? Not quite sure, I know he was a semistate qualifier last year though. Only two losses on the year, but I don't know who it was against. I know that he is still undefeated and that over the past three weekends(conference, sectionals, regionals) only one person has got out of the first period with him. He won maybe the Goshen Invite? I think that he beat the Michigan #3 at 215. Take that for what you want. He didn't have much comp in conference or sectionals. The only person I have seen him go to the 2nd period with is a kid that goes to FW South and he has lost within the first 30 seconds of the 2nd period. The man is a rock. I mean a solid rock. Here is an article and pic of him: http://www.journalgazette.net/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20090123/SPORTS05/301239927/1092/SPORTS05

  23. Last week it was 5-4 I believe and this week it was 6-3 I think. What? Scott and Grider never have wrestled. Grider has wrestled Taylor Scott of Heritage in the Sectional championship and Regional championship and hasn't faced Darryn Scott(sp?). That should be one of the most interesting ticket round matches in the SS.
