What is the rule on being able to be able to wrestle a certain weight class for sectionals? How many weigh ins do you have to have before the growth allowance to qualify for a specific weight class?

Hockenberry didn't wrestle. Massengale wrestled 171 for PM. I have heard that Decatur Central has not signed off on him and until they do he will not be able to wrestle for Perry. That is just hear say, so I could be wrong. -

I have seen on quite a few occasion this year where certain coaches have bullied referees into calls or have had calls reversed. I am all for supporting and standing up for you wrestlers but sometimes it is crossing the line. The refs need to stand by their calls if they feel that the it was the correct call not change it because a "well known" coach is making an arguement. A referee let two kids wrestle for 45 seconds while a coach was 3 feet into the wrestling circle yelling at a referee during a sectional final. That is ridiculous. -

Best wrestler to never advance to state

I may be a little biased but my little brother Justin Cooper from Whiteland, just had some bad luck. I believe this is correct. Freshman year ticket round against Blake Mauer . Sophomore year ticket round against Blake Mauer. Junior year ticket round against Kleinhentz (sp) from Columbus North. Then his senior year he was like #2 in the rankings, undefeated, and had already beaten Barnhizer at Connersville earlier in the year then got dqed on a questionable call in the conference finals and was not allowed to wrestle in the state tournament series the following weekend as a senior. -
Can anyone give me any information on the 140 pound weight class in that sectional last year. Nic Denton from Cascade ended up winning, but the second place guy was DQ'ed. Was it Kolb from Tri West? Does anyone know what happened there?
