MattM you are right...it is by the book illegal. does it happen like c-pink says? yes again because there is not the time nor the resources to check all of the weigh-ins in such a manner to check if a wrestler has lost too much weight. It normally only comes to light when a wrestler cuts a noticeable amount of weight or when people are waiting one someone to slip up and get fat...

There is only a 1 lb. allowance if one team is unable to practice the DAY BEFORE a competition. And the Coach or AD must notify the host school's AD or Coach to let them know that they were unable to practice and that the 1 lb. allowance is in effect. It does not matter if the whole week is cancelled, just the day before the competition. So therefore this week the only practice that matters to the rule is Friday's practice. Thanks, i knew that part i guess it was just wishful thinking that there was something else in there...

We arent going to be able to get on the mats until thursday atleast...and the AD isnt budging. Well i have a question, i know that they redid the weather cancellation and weight allowance section in the rules, so is there anything that says how much weight is given for the week of cancellations or the day before. Is there any weight that is going to be given?

Thanks. Not very often I'm right. Not gonna broadcast my predictions other than which schools should send the most to Reg. CN - 11 JC - 10 MA - 9 CE - 8 I dont know about all of that...i think there are some teams getting too much credit here. but i guess ur entitled to ur opinion. I really think that Jennings is going to make a serious run at the title this year and i think that east may be lurking around trying to do something. Madison has the potential to do some damage as well. I think that 11 may be too many for CN and maybe more from MA and CE

What do people think about this new format?? i personally like it. I like the idea of the 1 seeds getting a match in before the ticket round. we always wreslted one anyway with a teammate if we didnt have a match in the first round...

out of curiosity...how are the teams supposed to finish by the way that seeds go?? i always find this interesting after the fact
