T got home a little while ago from a camp at State Street Wrestling. He had a great time and everyone was thorughly worn out on the way home. He said he learned a lot and had some exceptional wrestlers in the room. He said he wants to be at the next one they put on...Went a long way in a short time correcting a prblem he has had for a long time. I was not there but I would like to thank Mike DeHart and Chris Ford for all their time... TBD

Sorry, it sounded to me like you were comparing them to WC when you put them in the same context as Perry and Cathedral. ( Talking about them on your schedule after asking who is going to be where)

LOL, I was referring to WC putting them in the same context as Cathedral. Not saying Warren does not have some good wrestlers, just saying they do not have the depth as Cathedral. So it really does not matter who is where because for the most part they only have a shot at a handfull of match`s. Just my two cents worth...

Very good news, Kris went home this morning. I am told he is tiring very easily but would`nt we all. Hopefully he will be back in school in a few weeks.

We just go back from the hospital a little while ago. Kris looked great. They have had him up and doing a little bit of walking in the hallway. He sure has not lost his appetite. Ne iseating everything in sight...lol... I think he was very happy to see all the people that are coming up to visit him. Like I said he is looking fantastic. Thank God...

Becky got off the phone with Kathy a short time ago. Kris was in surgery for over 4 hours and everything went as it was supposed to. Prayer works. Thank you very much...Keep it coming, they say the next 2 weeks are very important as Kris starts to heal. This will be an ongoing process. Kris has set times over the next year when he will be returning to his doctors in order to see how he is progressing. He should be in ICU for 24 hours and home in 3-5 days. They say the most crucial times will be over the next 2 weeks. Kathy and Jeff a very thankful for your thoughts and prayers. They really appreciate all your kind thoughts and sentiments on here.

Nathan is a good kid and a fantastic wrestler. I think Robs intentions are genuinely good but I think at times he thinks of people as tools to get things done. The consequences of the action is not thought about untill things like this blow up. Nathan, good luck to you. I look forward to watching you on the matt. Rob, no offense intended here. Just calling it like I see it...

Kris will go into surgery at I believe 1:00. His mom Kathy will let my wife Becky know how things are going. I will give updates as soon as Kathy and Jeff say it is OK to do so. In the meen time they sincerely appreciate all the prayers, so please keep them coming. Kris is a terrific kid and he or any other child should have to go through this. Anybody who knows Kris, knows he will kick this thing in the butt...More later...

I would like to ask for prayers for a Shelbyville HS wrestler and good friend of the family. Kris Uhls will be going in to have brain surgery this Thursday at Riley Hospital. Kris in addition to Shelbyville has wrestled in the Franklin Twp. Wrestling Club and Humphrey Wrestling. What I am told, this is a congenital malformation and they expect a very positive outcome. Kris and his twin brother Kyle have known my boy Travis since Kindergarten. They started wrestling together. Keep Kris and his family in your thoughts and prayers!!! TBD aka John McMillan

My opinion and a buck will get you a coke but here it is. Girls do not belong competing with boys either. I believe that any state that allows middle school kids to compete at the high school level are wrong. I also believe that if the IHSAA were to allow this they would have to allow all sports not just wrestling. If they did not, they would be open to possible descrimination law suits.

Here is a little revese logic for you. You say an 8th grader should be able to compete at the high school level because he is better than other 8th graders. I say no. How about a high school kid dropping down to the middle school level because he would do much better there. Your answer would be no, he is in High School. You would be right in saying that. He belongs competing at the high school level and the middle schooler needs to compete at the middle school level. They will get there soon enough...
