  1. ACAC Conference Tournament is at South Adams on Saturday!! Teams include: Garrett, Bluffton, Heritage, Southern Wells, South Adams, Adams Central, Woodlan, Leo
  2. I don't know...he might tech me in less than 19 seconds! :-[
  3. Ok, so I was thinking last night about how I would fair against Andrew Howe. The conclusion...not very well! But then I started thinking about how others might do against him. So my question is: How would you do against Andrew Howe in a regular 6 minute match (assuming you thinking you would last that long)? I'd like you to answer honestly. And this is how you would fair against him right now...not when you were at your prime! Including your weight might be fun for others to see how you think you would stack up compared to the 165 lb. Howe! My example: I weigh 170 pounds. I believe I would get pinned 19 seconds into the first period...and I am being honest! Playing basketball throughout high school did nothing to develop my wrestling skills!
  4. Just noticed he didn't wrestle this weekend. Does anyone know why? ???
  5. Yikes...that doesn't sound fun at all! Hopefully he will be able to get over it quickly!
  6. How did Matt Gerber do today?? littlevito...do you happen to have his individual match results? He has looked very impressive so far this year!
  7. How would you rank these freshman studs compared to each other? ??? I guess this is similar to the best pound for pound wrestlers only they are all freshman...I realize this may be difficult because they are in different weight classes, but I'm interested to see what your thoughts are. In no particular order, here are the 11 freshman to rank... -Jason Tsirtis (125 pounds) -Kyle Ayersman (103 pounds) -Brendan Campbell (103 pounds) -Quincy Richey (130 pounds) -Anthony Quiroz (152 pounds) -Conner Mullins (112 pounds) -Devon Jackson (112 pounds) -Tyler Willis (160 pounds) -Cody Phillips (103 pounds) -Blake Reuger (125 pounds) -Jared McKinley (103 pounds)
  8. Fun topic...here are my predictions: 103: Batt (SA) dec. Ables (Car) 8-4 112: Richman (Her) dec. Frankliln (Hom) 5-4 119: Perry (Blu) dec. Poynter (Dek) 8-6 (O.T.) 125: T. Fiechter (SW) dec. Sheets (Bel) 9-8 130: D. Fiechter(SW) dec. Norton (Car) 5-3 135: March(EN) dec Gerber(Bl) 7-5 140: Schendel(Gar) m.d. Krock (EN) 11-3 145: Hankenson(Bel) m.d. Sprunger(SA) 13-5 152: Baker(Bel) dec. 9. I predict...7-3 Quiroga over Porras

  11. Ha...didn't even realize I had bolded it. Maybe that can be my new motto...almost like a trademark...bold everything I write. Ok...maybe not!
  12. I know I am a tad bias, but Ryan Landis is 26 and is an excellent coach at Southern Wells. He is hardworking, motivated, and simply loves coaching. I believe this is his 5th or 6th year as head coach. I played basketball and tennis all through high school and college. I never cared too much for wrestling. Coach Landis is the biggest reason I have become interested in wrestling. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the sport has rubbed off on me. I am now a huge fan of high school wrestling and look forward to watching as many matches as I am able!
