  1. From what I was told over the phone and via text message here are the top 4 seeds: 103: Kuhn ® Seng (MD) Brown (CA) Aldridge (N) 112: Mastison (H) Goeble (MD) Johns ® Braye (N) 119: Welch (CA) Wedding (ME) Van Hook ® Pierre (MD) 125: Moody ® Henderson (MD) Oakley (CE) Johnson (ME) 130: Brown (CA) Kelley (CE) Mangold (MD) Schnarr ® 135: Schroeder (MD) Dowdy ® Petrig (ME) Mandel (CE) 140: Rueger ® Lannert (MD) Mann (CA) Hodge (ME) 145: Whetstine (ME) Chamberlain (CE) Riggs (MD) Appell ® 152: Welch (CA) Prasek (ME) Weinzapfel (MD) Dickens (N) 160: Welch (CA) Hayhurst (ME) Schneider (MD) Garnett (CE) 171: Brandenstein (MD) Warren (CA) King ® Campbell (N) 189: Boots (MD) Sandwith (ME) Lane (N) Skie (H) 215: Wright (MD) Pace (CE) Schnarr ® Miles (ME) 285: Van Winkle (MD) Hohl (CE) Schapker ® Finch (H)
  2. With the seeding meeting tomorrow night who should be seeded? What should they be seeded as? I know at 119 is is gonna be a close call between Welch and Wedding for that number 1 spot. Any others?
  3. You need to learn how to read. I never said it was going to be a close match at all. Go look at my predictions. I had Memorial dominating Central. Now how stupid do you feel?
  4. I'd have to give the edge to Perry. They match-up well but I think Perry has some studs that would score bonus points.
  5. What makes you think you can tell me that I know nothing about wrestling? WHo do you think you are?
  6. 103: 1st Kuhn 2nd Seng 112: 1st Goebel 2nd Johns 119: 1st Wedding 2nd Welch 125: 1st Moody 2nd Henderson 130: 1st Kelley 2nd Brown 135: 1st Schroeder 2nd Dowdy 140: 1st Rueger 2nd ??? 145: 1st Whetstine 2ndAppel 152: 1st Welch 2nd Prasek 160: 1st Welch 2nd Simms 171: 1st Warren 2nd ??? 189: 1st Boots 2nd Sandwith 215: 1st ??? 2nd ??? 285: 1st Van Winkle 2nd ??? That should be the finals at each weight, but you never know until after the seeding meeting and after weigh-ins. Thos are the top 2 at each weight for sure.
  7. All the Reitz kids have lost now except for Moody.
  8. Johns was making it obvious. But then again it was at the Harrison 10-way so it doesn't surprise me the refs didn't call it. The 10-way has some pretty bad referees from the times I have been there and watching. They miss a ton of calls. Johns did everything he could to push the pace and attack. Mastison continued to back up and that is why when they meet on neutral ground like SIAC Johns will destroy him because Mastison will be forced to wrestle.
  9. 103: ME 112: CE 119: ME 125: ME 130: ME 135: ME 140: CE 145: ME 152: CE 160: ME 171: ME 189: ME 215: ME 285: ME yeah, this will be really close....
  10. I do not like the way he wrestlers and i have found him to be very direspectful. But yes I heard he "beat" Johns 1-0. But from what I was told was that he never did anything. He stalled for straight minutes then chose down and Johns let him up to go neutral and he stalled out the rest of the 3rd. So from what I have been told he stalled for 6 straight minutes. I think Johns will either major or worse against him next time. I could see JOhns possibly sticking him next time.
  11. Where can you find the Kentucky State rankings at? I'm curious as to see how many Indiana young men have beat the top kids from Kentucky. Can anyone help me out?
  12. Very true. If he drops to 103 he could possible squeeze out a 3rd at best. I don't see him coming close to beating Kuhn or Vibbert/Seng. Same at 112 i don't see him being able to beat Goebel or Johns. At 112 he is very lucky to get 4th.
  13. I think you are overlooking some very good kids. Johns and possibly even Turi could challenge Goebel for the 112 title.
  14. Who beat the Sam Goebel from MD? I was sure he would be in the finals and I was almost positive he would be Brock Ervin.
  15. anybody else have any predictions?
  16. I thought thats what the whole RESULTS page was for. So everybody would know who got beat and by who and by how bad.
  17. 103: R major 4-0 R 112: MD decision 4-3 R 119: R major 8-3 R 125: MD decision 8-6 R 130: MD pin 12-8 MD 135: MD decision 15-8 MD 140: R major 15-12 MD 145: R decision 15-15 152:MD major 19-15 MD 160:MD tech 24-15 MD 171:MD decision 27-15 MD 189:MD major 31-15 MD 215:R decision 31-19 MD 285:MD decision 34-19 MD
  18. It's a New Year. How about some New rankings? or at least tell us when they will be updated. The Evansville SS rankings are falling behind everybody else. I would change 112 to: 1st: Shepherd 2nd: Schroeder 3rd: Johns: 4th: Engelking 5th: Schoettle 6th: Goebel 7th: Turi 8th: Happel
  19. Blake Johns of Evansville Reitz and Sam Goebel of Evansville Mater Dei are both studs at 112. Look for them to go to state and make some big upsets.
  20. Let's compare the top individual in each weight now. 103: IL: # 7 Matt Garelli - Fenwick IN: none 112: IL: #2 Jered Cortez - Marmion Academy IN: #4 Cody Phillips - Union COunty 119: IL: #19 Derek Elmore - Manchesny Park Harlem IN: none 125: IL: #10 Eddie Klimara - Providence Catholic; #18 Danny Sabatello - Stevenson IN: none 130: IL: #9 Ben Whitford - Marmion Academy; #12 Zane Richards - Carbondale; Joey Gosinski - Glenbard North IN: none 135: IL: #8 Jameson Oster - Lockport; #9 Trevor Jauch - Crystal Lake Central IN: none 140: IL: #13 Lucas Smith - Wheeling; #20 Brian Murphy - Glenbard North IN: #3 Jason Tsirtsis - Crown Point 145: IL: #3 Edwin Cooper - Providence Catholic IN: #13 Eric Roach - Crown Point 152: IL: #4 Max Schneider - Chicago Lane; #6 Joey Kielbasa - Crystal Lake Central IN: none 160: IL: #18 Dylan Reel - Washington; #20 Steve Congenie - Villa Park IN: none 171: IL: #2 Jahwon Akui - Saint Rita; #8 Sam Brooks - Oak Park River Forest IN: #13 Drake Stein - Princeton 189: IL: #3 Austin Marsden - Crystall Lake Central IN: #8 Mitch Sliga - Fishers 215: IL: #5 Gage Harrah - Crystal Lake Central; #8 Michael Sojka - Winnebago; #11 Josh Marchok - Schaumburg; #20 West Cathcart - Geneseo IN: none 285: IL: #7 Jack Allen - Hinsdale Central; #13 Chris Lopez - Carl Sandburg IN: none Based off that I think that this year IL is better than IN.
  21. Must have been a good match between Johns and Mastison. What were the scores of Johns/Ervin and Ervin/Mastison?
  22. Johns lost to Masterson? What was the score? Was it close?
  23. Did Ervin pin his way through 112? I heard he pinned Johns so I'm assuming he did pin everybody with Johns being the second toughest 112 there.
