since we're talking about 140, how bout the lynde kid from delphi? watched him at iswa state last year and seemed pretty solid.. him and rowe (NW) wrestled this year?

I can't count the times i've seen wrestlers get beat and "rise to the occasion" by sectional time and avenge a loss or two..should be fun.

Acually..not the best wrestling movie BUT i just got done watching Mr. Woodcock and there was a sweeet wrestling scence towards the end!! Didn't know Billy Bob was such an animal. ;D

West Central didn't wrestle very well yesterday. A couple could've went either way in the finals from what i hear and if those twenty-four points were taken away then who's to say that WC couldn't have won those matches? WC has struggled with numbers the last few years and its the complete opposite this year when they have a full line up and other teams don't. We've been competitive over the years but just didn't have the numbers to show for it. I'd say WC has as good a chance as anyone.

I agree that you cannot go by a dual meet. For a team to win sectionals it takes alot of help from the other schools studs like caston, south newton and any other teams not filling half of their weight classes. This is different from other years in this sectionals because there is no way we can put a lock on the top three teams like we have been able to in the past. It doesn't take 2-3 very good wrestlers to make a good team, it take 12-13 guys who can wrestle six minutes competivly. It'll come down to whoever is wrestling the best that day

WC has been looking good. Haven't been able to watch as much as i'd like.. Haven't faced too much stiff competion but i think they are contenders..carrying a legitamate 21-5 record. Dropped a very close one to Michigan City a couple weeks ago.. I think Delphi is the only team thats really taken it to them. BUT should be a very exciting post season and a fun next few years. GOod Luck EVERYONE!
