You can call it whatever you want but you will be qualified in one weekend and there is always great competition.

Perry fixed it. Come to Indy April 8th for some freestyle and greco. On April 9th bring your best team for a freestyle dual. There is your two qualifiers for state.

Perry Meridian will be having our freestyle/greco tournament April 8th and a freestyle duals schoolboy-Jr April 9th. We will be excepting the first 12 paid teams. Start putting your best teams together. We will have our flyer available soon.

We also had an 8th grader in the line up. We placed 3rd and the only top team with no graduated seniors or kids from other schools. -
So we already have threads with people complaining about ISWA. So the two tournament rule was a bust. But what I was told it was proposed for two years so they stuck with it for two years. Who know what will happen next year. So now is the time we need to start thinking of ideas to promote freestyle and to get more kids involved. If all you are going do is complain and B**** shame on you. I really like the ideas of Duals. Separate by PeeWee-SB and Cadets-Jr. Maybe have a Dual during the week or if you cant get the numbers to run a Saturday tournament get with a few of the RTC's close to your area or talk to some of the coaches around and have a quin dual on Saturday. If your club dont have enough kids combine with another club or get on indianamat and let people know you have an open weight class.

Congratulations to Perry Meridian on winning the large school team division at Ohio Tournament of Champions this past weekend. .. Perry had 34 wrestlers compete. Yes you read that correctly. All you need is a gym or wrestling room and a mat. Any school can do it. Seems pretty fair. Why does it have to be on a weekend.
