Excellent info as usual Mr. H. Correction, Zeke Harmon is not wrestling for SS this year. Thier lone stud is Wetzel at 135 though.

Steve Ford is so lazy when it comes to covering wrestling. Maybe Im a perfectionist, but he could've done so much bettter.

My sleeper is Harrison. I think they will be in the middle of the pack when the dust settles. I think they will beat SS, FP, TC, and possibly SR & UC. So they are looking at a .500 record on the weekend. Not bad for that young and improving squad. PS- I've heard UC is way down this year. On the topic of "tough"... To those who don't know this tourney, it is tough. It is tough to have 9 dual meets with 2 weigh ins in 22 hours (as the shirts so accurately state). It is a test of a young man's will to even show up Day 2 of this weekend. It is tough for teams to win or lose a close dual meet, to then turn around and have to do it all over again the next round. Even though Reitz should cruise, it is still a tough tourney and places 2-10 are not set in stone.

So obviously Reitz will win this hands down. My question is what good match ups could we see? I know VanHook vs Hall @ 103, Mastison vs Wedding @ 112, maybe Whetstine vs Ervin @ 140 (Idk if thats where Ervin even is), Wedding & Mastison both will run into Kuhn (Poor froshies), what others? ***Come on Southern Indiana wrestling fans. The board is gettin over-run with talk about wrestling EVERYWHERE but down here!!!

Thanks for the motivating words. And I will bet the farm on either one of those bets. North will not be top 3 or 4, I'm sorry. I don't doubt the numbers are low. They only had like 5-7 guys on JV last year. Idk if 17 is accurate though. Little Welch is JV? WOW. There are no weight classes above that where he can step in? This kid was solid last year. -
Via results page Rd. 9: MV 42 EN 25 PS- Can't believe there has been no talk about North's last match at Turkey....Rushing gets a Flagrant DQ, North's coach loses a team pt, and then a North wrestler lost on a slam call. They almost lost to South Spencer at the end of all this madness. So no Rushing for the Memorial match this week.

North over Memorial?! WOW....somebody's thinking upset city. Even though Memorial may be down, they find a way to get the job done. Coach Mattingly does an excellent job with that team. They will not finish behind North. Many people are saying "this is the year for Reitz". My question is, haven't we heard that before? Reitz is always stacked, yet MD finds a way to get the job done vs Reitz. Call me old fashion, but I think MD tops Reitz again this year. As for SIAC, this year will be no different that last year. The upsets and consolation points will be a HUGE factor in deciding the conference title. But, its still to early to say.....I want to see weights and by the end of Dec I think we can all make a bit more accurate predictions.

What about MD's JV streak? I think that speaks volumes for the success of their program overall.

I don't think Matt can make 149. I hope for his saftey and health he doesn't either. When he went down that year he looked awful. Comments/score-by-score of the Kinser/Coughlin match?
