I was late the last time and saw Winchester won, but didn't see a score. Was it close? Do you think it is going to be a close match? Is it worth going too?

So are there any big matches between now and the TEC tourney? Or are all the matches done now?? When is the seeding meeting??

Alright...so we are gettin' closer to the TEC. When is the seeding meeting? Is it possible to get brackets on here sometime after the meetings? So all of us fans can get a look at what is happening? I still think Union County wins the tourney this year, because they have a more tournament style team. I think over all Union County will have 4-5 Champs. Winchester will have 4 But I think that Union County will win on pts and second placers!

Sure I understand what you are saying I dont' me to offend anyone. But all I am saying is that when a kid storms off and leaves his team, throws a temper tantrum, and curses at wrestlers or fans then that is not right. We as fans and other teams dont' need that. Yes losing bites the big one, we all know that, but not everything in life is going to go like we want it. Lose like a man, Win like a man. There is no need to make a big scence. Makes you look like a baby and doesn't make your team or coaching staff. Life isn't full of winning all the time. We all lose something, someone, or everything. Let's not let our kids and wrestlers think that it is ok to act out like they do now. Lose and act respectful. If you are losing that means you need to work harder not throw a fit. Just thought I would let you know why I think it is disrespectful and humilitating to watch wrestlers that cry and throw things and storm off and slam doors when they lose. Losing happens!

I think WC has already wrestled Centerville and beat them pretty good. I also think it is at Winchester...don't know when or anything like that?? I would like to know too if possible. I agree that their coach has the worst attitude of anyone on that team. He doesn't seem to really step up and take control or discipline anyone for their actions. Not good for that school, because they get the BAD rep because of their coaches and wrestlers actions.

Congrats to UC. Sounds like a good match. Rogers beat Uphaus? wow!!!!way to go rogers. Centerville has some attitude problems. They have for years, and their head coach doesn't ever do anything about it. I can't believe that kid was upset. Did he honestly think he could beat Duck. There isnt' anyone in a 60 mile radius that could touch Duckworth or Phillips. Any seeding yet or brackets for the conference tourney?

That would have been a good one to see. Did Winchester look good? I saw the score, surprised me. I thought Union County would have beat Winchester. Phillips and Duckworth both look very good this year. Have only seen Chalfant twice, but he looked bigger this year than he did last year.

Is it true that Winchester wrestles Union County on Tuesday and so does Yorktown they wrestle Whiteland on Tuesday?? Which meet will be the best one? Who will win each meet? Rank those four in order from toughest to weakest? Which has the best coaching staff??

Chalfant, Duckworth, Phillips, most of Yorktown, a lot of Jay County guys. Although I saw where Kenney got beat...by who?? What was the score...was Kenney sick??

This site is great. PROPS to the tech guys that put this together. You guys blew the comp. away. Keep it up. Rankings, forum, and everything included is just unbelievable. GREAT JOB...never will I attend another site about indiana high school wrestling.

Exactly right. It is just low number of wrestlers. Class isn't going to help anything. I want to see who the actual Indiana High School state champion is at each weight class. Not see two or three of them. And wonder who is the REAL state champ. It takes too much time and everything to split it up into class champions. There is no need for it. Best wrestler wins, if he is 2 A then so be it, if he happens to be 5 A then right on. Go out and wrestle to see who is the actual STATE champion.

You both are acting like you are from small schools where you didn't make it to state and are upset now. Small schools....Duckworth, Phillips, Chalfant, I know many small schools like Centerville, Winchester, Tri High, Union County, Hagerstown have had many wrestlers make it to state. MAN TO MAN...doesn't matter what school you went too, it comes down to who has the desire, determination and love for the sport to go out and make things happen. Little school wrestlers love going out and just wrestling, I have never heard a 2A or 1A school have a wrestler that said, I just beat a kid from a 5 A school, he is happy he won and is ready for next match. CLASS isn't important in our sport. It only is to those basketball schools who think its unfair.

With Class wrestling you screw up a great tradition of wrestling in Indiana. NO CLASS. KEEP it the SAME. GO out and win because you are the BEST in the state, not because you are the best out of the class you are in. Small schools don't field a full team near as much as bigger schools, but that doesn't mean they can't and don't have state placers, champs or qualifiers. 2A, 1A schools have had great success and I think they would say the same.

Listen, a sport is a sport. You only put 14 guys out on the mat. GO WIN or SHUT UP. I haven't heard many small schools complain. You guys are making this a big big deal over nothing. Wrestling is a sport where you go out and the BEST man WINS. You all train the same, and that is when it comes down to who can win.

Class wrestling is dumb. It doesn't matter the class. Each wrestler goes out and wrestles to his or her ability. Who cares about how big a school is, you can only put 14 guys or girls on the mat. This isn't basketball. That's one thing about this sport that is great. SMALL school or big SCHOOL, you the same chance and opportunity. I know of many small school state champs or runner ups or placers. WRESTLING is fine the way it is. It makes it special and makes it stand out among the other class sports. DON"T go ruin something good for the sport.
